Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

Montses apartment is an excellent base to explore the city of Barcelona. Communication was excellent. We arrived on an early flight and were able to check in early. Montse daughter met us at the apartment and showed us round and explained how everything worked. Its located on a typical Barcelona street in a block typical of 90% of the city. lts a vibrant and busy area of a very vibrant and busy city in which we always felt very safe. Theres dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops within 5 minutes walk. The restaurant next door served the best Galician steak in the city. Theres a small supermarket directly opposite. Its a few minutes walk to the bus stop and metro station. You don't need a car. The whole of the old city, harbour area and Montjuc are in easy walking distance. The public transport system is superb. T casual ticket was around 12 Euro for 10 trips. This covers the buses, metro, trams and funicular. We would definitely stay again if visiting Barcelona again.

We had a wonderful stay at Juan Carlos' and Nina's place! Great location and the apt was very cute and clean. The rooftop terrace had amazing views and we could walk to everything. Perfect space for two, and three or four can also fit. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Air BnB for a short term stay, we found the apartment easily thanks to the helpful instructions provided and the check in was informative and helpful. The apartment was clean and all amenities / recourses were just what we needed. There is a restaurant opposite that can provide some noise as the owners stand outside chatting but it was never anything that massively disturbed our sleep. There is also a dog that barks quite a bit from a neighbouring balcony so I would say if you are in the main bedroom (the front facing bedroom) you might want to take into account that it can be somewhat noisy, again nothing that massively impacted us but good to note! The hosts were super lovely and checked in with us before and during our stay to make sure we were happy and comfortable. It’s super close to the L4 metro line and a walkable distance to the Sagrada Família. There is also a bus route to take you to places like Park Güell. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend!

Great stay at Anna's place. The quiet accommodation in a small street, is upstairs and is as described. The metro is barely 5 minutes away. The terrace is large and the views are superb of Tibidabo mountain. Clean, well-equipped accommodation, comfortable beds and with a small special touch upon arrival that we really appreciated. Anna responds quickly to the message and advises you on the shops nearby.

Our 3 night stay was wonderful. We appreciated the flexible check in and check out. Great location. Public transport was easy and close by. Host and crew were friendly and communicative.

Highly recommend this location. Easy to see all the sights, take transit and find delicious restaurants! Shower has great water pressure. Bed and pillows are comfortable!

Fantastic place and Cosy atmosphere

Xu's house is in a very convenient location with public transport (both subway and bus). There is a well-stocked supermarket and a playground in front. The photos reflect the reality of the house. For Barcelona, it's a good value.

We stayed here for 4 days, Jaume was really helpful in providing a binder filled with recommendations, maps & bus and train routes, and taxi numbers to get around in Barcelona! We loved the outdoor terrance. The neighborhood feels very safe and peaceful, a lot nearby cafes and restaurants, and even an outdoor & indoor shopping mall! It’s also a short walk from the bus stop and the train stations.

Beautiful house with lots of room and great views from the roof terrace. Lots to do in the area with a beach and plenty of restaurants.

Me and my friends were looking for a stay in Barcelona when we came across this and it did not disappoint one bit. Monica is a lovely host which is pro active and cooperative make sure she know what time we are getting there and leaving to meet us and show us around. We knew if we had any problems or if we needed anything she was only one message away. The house is in the lovely and tranquil area of alella which has restaurants and shops walking distance away from the house and the neighborhood was friendly. The house was clean and looked exactly like the photos, the view from the balconies were unreal and being able to jump into the pool when the Barcelona sun was shining was also amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chill and relaxing stay in Spain, you will not regret it. Hopefully we will be back one day, it was a pleasure :)

We feel so lucky to have found this gem! After a last-minute relocation due to a burst pipe at our original Airbnb, we couldn’t believe our good fortune landing here—it turned out to be even better than we could’ve hoped for. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and felt like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was so quiet at night—we slept like babies! The location is perfect—central enough to walk everywhere, yet tucked away enough to offer calm and relaxation. The kitchen was fully equipped and a joy to use, and the space overall was spotless and beautifully maintained. Gloria, our host, was fantastic! So warm and welcoming, and full of helpful recommendations for restaurants and navigating Barcelona. Her hospitality really made our stay special. After long days exploring the city, it was such a relief to return to this cozy, serene space! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!

We stayed here as a family—my wife, our 2-year-old child, and I—and everything was just perfect. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed, and more. It was thoughtfully equipped for all types of guests, including families with children. We especially appreciated the presence of toys, which made our little one feel right at home. There was nothing missing, and everything was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!

Enzo was a great host. He was super responsive and gave great recommendations based on our likes. His place was really clean and provided all the necessities. It was perfect for a group of 5. His place was well situated - it was super close to the Sagrada Família and to a few metro stations, making it easy for us to explore Barcelona.

My 5 day stay in Barcelona could not have been better and this is largely due to this beautiful Air B&B. The views are amazing! Sitting out on the patio for sunrises and sunsets was a daily joy. It is easy to get everywhere from Martin’s place and it is relatively quiet. Both Martin’s were very responsive and kind. I would most definitely stay here again.

We liked this place a lot. It's very nice and it's very good. When we arrived the air was on and everything was very tidy. Guillermo was very friendly at all times.

Silvia was a brilliant host, she was very responsive to messages and helped us find the place. She was very understanding when our flight was delayed and allowed us to check in late. We found the appartment even bigger than the photos. The neighbourhood and apartment building was very nice and felt very safe, and the metro and buses were very useful for getting around. 10/10!

The location for the price is an absolute dream, just minutes to walk to the most beautiful beach and walking path. With bikes and beach chairs/umbrellas at our disposal we were able to explore the area and enjoy the beach, restaurants and parks. The grocery store is just across the street and the bus stop which takes you into Barcelona just steps away. The grounds have a neighborhood pool, restaurant and play ground. Very quiet and family friendly area. The unit is spacious and we loved preparing our meals and enjoying them on the large balcony. The beds and linens were comfortable and there was lots of storage for clothing and suitcases. The kitchen was fully equipped and had the extras like oil, salt and pepper etc. The hosts are very attentive and looked after our every need. Highly recommend!

This apartment is lovely! Exactly like the pictures. The train to Barcelona is a 5 minute walk and 30 minute ride and couldn’t be easier to use. The shower in the apartment was really good along with all the kitchen and it was stocked with all the small things like salt/oil, pots/pans. The pool was great and the beach is basically on your doorstep. Luis responded straight away to every query I had and was a great host. Thank you
