Family-friendly vacation rentals in Giske Municipality

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses von Anna und Robert. Der Blick auf die Berge und den See ist wirklich schön. Jetzt im Sommer ist der Garten schön grün und der Hot Tub sehr zu empfehlen. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen. Hannah und Robert geben super Tipps etwas zu unternehmen. Man kann sich ja eine Woche oder länger dort verbringen. Wenn wir noch einmal in der Gegend sind, werden wir wieder bei Anna und Robert übernachten.

Super tolle Unterkunft mit atemberaubenden Ausblick! Der Jacuzzi und die kostenfreie Fährverbindung nach Leknes haben unserem Aufenthalt den perfekten Schliff gegeben. Zudem ist das Airbnb sehr gemütlich/liebevoll eingerichtet und fantastisch ausgestattet, u.a. gibt es zahlreiche Gesellschaftsspiele und Kinderspielzeug. Vielen lieben Dank, Svein & Monica, für die unvergesslich schöne Zeit, die wir in eurem Ferienhaus verbracht haben!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

Tolle, private Unterkunft in der man sich sofort wie zuhause fühlt. Gute Ausgangslage für viele Ausflüge - der Hausberg Melshornet ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und kann direkt von der Hütte aus gemacht werden. Siw und Bottolf sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Maximale Privatsphäre.

Wir hatten über Ostern fast drei Wochen für 6 erwachsene Personen gebucht und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Wohnzimmer war für Ostern sehr schön dekoriert, warm, sehr sauber und groß genug für uns alle. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Skifahren war wegen Schneemangel nicht mehr möglich, dafür konnten wir wunderbare Wanderungen unternehmen. Lises Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen und wir möchten gerne wiederkommen.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Tinyhouse hält, was es verspricht und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr schön, ruhig und in einer tollen Umgebung. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wij zijn 17 nachten verbleven met 3 gezinnen in dit mooie karakteristieke huis. Het huis zelf is prima, de locatie maakt het prachtig! Allemaal keken we op van de rustige omgeving en het uitzicht. In het echt is het nog mooier dan op de foto's. De woning zelf is erg comfortabel en hadden meteen een erg huiselijk gevoel. En als we er op uit wilden waren we binnen een half uurtje in de stad Alesund. Ben je minder van de stadsvoorzieningen dan is er in de omliggende natuur ook genoeg te doen zoals wandelroutes en bezienswaardigheden. Er zwommen bruinvissen en zeehonden in het fjord, en er vlogen zeearenden in het rond. In die paar weken tijd toch flink wat vis gevangen waaronder pollak, makreel, roodbaars en kabeljauw. Gelukkig hebben we nog ook kunnen bbqen beneden. Paal en zijn vader Arne waren erg behulpzaam en overal werd aan gedacht en we kregen altijd een snelle reactie. Erg vriendelijke mensen! Al met al een superfijne vakantie gehad!

This peaceful place mixed with a comfortable place to call home was the ideal ending to a trip to Norway. The house is set up with great areas to sit and write, kick back and relax, cook delicious food, and get a good night's sleep. I enjoy the house and thought it was cozy. The island was quiet, the walks were inspiring and the sea and mountain views were breathtaking. Ruben's parents were a delight and so helpful and kind. I can't say enough about their generosity. If you're looking for a place to relax, reset, and unwind this is the ideal location. It's rare in this busy world to find a place where you can breath fresh air, move your body, be inspired by nature and feel safe in a cozy home. The island has sheep and llamas to entertain you! If I come back to Norway, I'll definitely make this part of my trip! Thank you to Ruben and his parents for creating a safe haven for us all to enjoy!

Very convenient stay right in the centre of Alesund. The apartment was old but very neat and very clean, simply what we expected from the pictures.

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

Veldig hyggelig sted. Fleksibel og enkel innsjekk, alt klart når vi kom og som beskrevet. Fin utsikt og kort vei til sentrum av ulsteinvik. Kommer gjerne tilbake

Fantastic Airbnb and host, location is central to everything in the area in both winter (skiing) and summer (hiking). The space has a very comfortable bed, cosy fire and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend!

Een groot en gezellig huis met alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn voor langere verblijven. Een fijne plek om op afstand te werken. De omgeving is prachtig en vanuit het huis heb je een mooi uitzicht. Ondanks veel regen tijdens ons verblijf hebben we genoten van de bergen, het huis en de cider. Het contact met Borgny ging heel soepel. We werden gastvrij ontvangen en werden zelfs uitgenodigd om een keer mee te gaan met vissen. Al met al een heel goed verblijf gehad hier!

Kjempefint hus,reint og fint🙂Bra faseligteter,gode soveplasser og nydelig stille.Kjempeflott badestrand i nærheten.Husverten var meget hyggelig og svarte raskt om det var noe vi lurte på.Dette huset kan sterkt anbefales og vi vil gjerne leie der flere ganger🙂

Vi hadde en super vinterferie på hytta , kommer gjerne tilbake! Fin beliggenhet nærme trekket og hytta er velutstyrt og stor. Perfekt utgangspunkt for noen fine avslappende dager!
