A charming house from the 1800s with a great atmosphere. The property is beautifully located by the lake overlooking Ålesund and Sunnmørsalpene. Only 15 min by car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there is cultivated land with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a marble church from the Middle Ages, beaches, untouched nature and bird life. The island was once home to Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs, and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Here you have a short distance to the sea with great bathing opportunities, and the area offers beautiful nature with both mountains and nice hiking trails. The house is centrally located, with only 15 minutes to Vigra Airport and 20 minutes to the center of Ålesund. For the children, there is a play structure, a trampoline and a sandbox in the garden. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and business travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses).
