OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. Gratis parkering. 1/2 minutt å gå til fjorden der sjøvante kan leie robåt etter avtale. I gåavstand har du Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset med strand, stier, gapahuker og bålplass samt bunkerser fra 2. verdenskrig. Du kan gå opp på Sukkertoppen herfra. Nydelig utsikt over by og fjell. Vogna har dobbeltseng, enkeltseng, stor sofa, enkelt kjøkken, toalett og tv, ovn m.m. Velkommen.

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Relaxing place on Godøya

Welcome to our house on Gudøya Island. You will have the ground floor with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a beautiful terrace with view to the sea and mountains. The living room has a kitchenette for cooking. Unfortunately, there is no sink there, but the sink and a dishwasher are in the laundry room. You can also use bicycles. Please note that the entrance is shared. For all details, please look carefully at the photos and plan. We really hope you will enjoy your stay at our place.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Yet only 20 min. by car to Ålesund city center. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and business travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). We can also assist with transportation to/from the airport in the late afternoon/evening. There is a 24-HOUR (Monday-Saturday) grocery store 2 km from the rental. Joker Vikane. Walking distance ( 15min) to the famous Ålesund City center with its Jugend style arcitekture and the viewpoint Aksla. A must for all visitors. 10 minutes walk to the seaside where you could take a swim at the beach or go for fishing. Bus stop just outside the house.

A pearl in the sea gap! Newly renovated farmhouse from 1894 which has retained its unique charm and old style :) The house is located on Ulla, Haramsøy (Haram municipality), with the sea as its nearest neighbour. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.

Cabin with amazing views

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic barn located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The barn is over a hundred years old, but has been renovated several times. Please note that the Stabburet has electricity, but no running water or toilet. Guests can use the shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away.
