Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gippsland

Absolutely stunning views, you walk outside the sliding doors that overlooked the pool and it is breathtaking. The house was in very clean condition. I was able to take my children to the stables that’s on the property to feed the horses, donkeys and dogs. The kangaroos came to the front of the property each morning. Honestly a 10/10. Hosts were very helpful too, were super responsive and helped me find a private chef that came out to the property. Thanks again

Chris and Grant's place was such a lovely base for the weekend! From the start, communication was clear and detailed. It was very easy to check in and to start a beautiful warm fire on arrival. We loved adventuring to some of the local sites with our dogs and coming back to a cosy home each night. The wildlife around the property was incredible, and watching the birds while you eat breakfast was awesome. Definitely can recommend this place to others either as a couples retreat or for your family. Thanks Chris and Grant!

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay. The property is quiet, very cosy, well equipped, nicely furnished and very clean. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The setting right on the lakeside with fire pit is beautiful with an excellent view of water, bushland and wildlife. We highly recommend this property. Thank you!

It was our second stay, and the absolute delight was the autumn surroundings. Such beauty! Our Spring stay in October already took our breath away with the surroundings, but so so happy to have now experienced what autumn looks like in such an incredibly tree-filled property. Everything was clean and user friendly and comfortable. We love this place! The town was an absolutely picturesque walk away through lead-filled walk paths beside a flowing creek/river. And I highly recommend my new favourite cafe, the River view Cafe & Wine Bar.

A wonderful, peaceful place! The views are beautiful. Especially at dawn. Friendly host and animals. Rolly, the canine concierge, especially. Our dogs particularly loved this Airbnb. Probably their most favorite ever! Excellent gravel bike rides close by. The house is an authentic Australian farmhouse. A mixture of eclectic design elements. Very loved and visited by treasured family. Staying here took me back to visiting friend's parents farms fifty years ago! Except for the sparkling new Bali inspired bathroom! Very comfy beds, warm living spaces, heaps of kitchen things, a wonderful library and a strong sense of family history. No airs and graces. Honest, country hospitality. Congratulations on a lovely place! We loved our stay and hope to return.

True gem tucked away in Venus Bay! James’s home had everything you could ask for — good tunes (record player), fireplace, espresso machine, cozy bed, and hiking trail right behind their charming nook. Thank you for a great stay, James.

Lewis went above and beyond what was required - we had long air flights across time zones so he made sure we had the instructions for the lock box. The flat is very close to lots of eateries and Lewis has details of which streets to look along. It’s close to the CBD and just opposite a large park, and the flat is lovely inside. A great place to stay.

Great place for our base to do the Charlotte’s pass hike. Perfect for two people for the weekend! Clean kitchen, comfy beds and very warm. We absolutely recommend :)

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

Very relaxing stay at Kerrie's 2-bedroom place. Well-furnished with all you need. Cereals, croissants, and milk in the fridge were nice touches. Beds are very comfortable. 2-minute drive into the centre of Merimbula for shops and restaurants. Pleasant headland walk nearby. Kerrie was away and her stand-in was responsive and helpful. We can recommend Kerrie's place.

Want a fantastic and peaceful place to stay, then this is it. Peter and Vicki even gave great tips for coffee and places to eat. Always helps to have this kind of information when staying somewhere new.

The Mountain View Farm stay was really great, we actually looked forward to going back there after our days outings, everything we needed was provided and it was a great place for our dogs too. We will be going back to stay again 🙂

Gioia’s home was bright and welcoming, it is in an excellent location - extremely close proximity to Woolies, Luna Park and the beach - if you’ve a puppy - there are plenty of doggy friendly places around. The home has everything you need, check in was sooooo easy and provided a restful home for our weekend.

A comfortable and confidently located cottage. Easy access to town and Bright without the hustle and bustle. Comfortable furniture inside and dog friendly a big plus. The communal fire pit at the front was a nice touch. Recommend a stay if visiting the area

It is a beautiful place and had a good experience. The light from outside and indoor was amazing with the combination of color of furniture. I will definitely book the place again.

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. It was peaceful, quiet and private with a lovely view of the forest, yet very close to shops and restaurants. Shellie was a wonderful host and I would gladly stay again.

Lisa and Nick’s Serenity property was exactly what we needed. Secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by nature in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly relaxed. The house is beautifully cosy and had everything we needed (plus all the little thoughtful touches, the snacks were very generous, thank you!) We spent our days going on long, quiet walks through the forest, soaking up the winter sun with a food platter, and our nights laughing around the outdoor fire under the stars. It was the perfect spot for four girlfriends who just wanted to do absolutely nothing and feel everything. Thank you Lisa and Nick for creating such a special space. We’ll be back

I recently stayed at Chris’ property, and it was absolutely fantastic! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into making the space both comfortable and welcoming. Loved it.

It was a great stay, the view from the house was awesome and he been lucky to see the clear sky with the stars. The House was very clean and had a great atmosphere with the fireplace and the general location. It was all in all a great stay and I would love to come back again.
