Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! Such a wonderful place calm and neat. Very responsive host who gave clear instructions to us for directions and check in.. place is really kids friendly!!

We stayed at Johan's with a group of students for 10 days. Johan was welcoming and very helpful. He advised us on different places to visit, all around the accommodation. He did us a favor (to make pancakes and a barbecue). The house is well-equipped and very pleasant. The little bonus: the land with sauna, facing the lake! Thank you for everything! Our family of three adults and two small children rented Jesper's amazing cottage during the Ascension weekend 2025 and we had some wonderful days together in and near the house! Everything from the communication with Jesper before, during and after our stay, to the life in the house worked exceptionally well and we would gladly rent the cottage again. Extra nice that there was access to a good sauna for us adults and that the children could run freely on the large lawn in front of the house. Fantastic house and very good and reliable host!

The best spot! Just wonderful! It's picturesque and peaceful, with a mossy granite shoreline and a cute dock in a calm cove. The views are exquisite.

Cozy, cozy house in incredibly beautiful peaceful surroundings. We were two families with children who shared the house on a long weekend in connection with skiing in Romme and it worked just fine. We stayed in the outhouse which was super cozy. Bengt and Ulla-Kari were very helpful and friendly. Recomend!

Cozy home in the countryside. Peaceful and private. There was everything you could possibly need to cook. Large and spacious kitchen. Dishwasher was a huge plus. The host Hans was easy to reach and responsive. We are super happy.

We felt very welcomed by Ulla and Eamonn. It felt very homely and cozy and everything needed was there. Was there anything we would just knock and ask, it was never a problem. It was clean and fresh, luxurious with made beds. Good with parking in the yard. Close to both the pulse of the city and the historic mine. We would be glad to come back!

Great place close to Uppsala center. The unit is renovated very nicely and has cool modern interior with ample space for a family of four. Very comfortable beds as well! Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Great cosy place, close to centrum and very nice host

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! The highlight of the property is the huge back deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. The large swimming pool adds to the charm, creating a perfect relaxation spot. Sigtuna itself is enchanting, with its quaint streets and rich history. The house embodies this charm, making it a delightful retreat. The peaceful location truly enhances the experience, allowing for a tranquil getaway. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting. You won't be disappointed!

Teresa was a great host with great communication. The place was very clean and exactly as described. I had a great sleep even though I was up early for my flight. Next time I have a stopover at Arlanda, I will stay here again. Thanks Teresa.

Had a great stay, was a very private feel. Host responded very quickly and was accommodating to requests. Cleaning instructions could have been clearer but overall great communication.

A real place to the heart, we loved it so much. Those who like the flair of the photos are well taken care of here. You will automatically slow down and get involved in nature, the sauna or swimming in the lake. By the way, the small place is very nice with village shop, cafe, a market on Saturday and some more.

The two of us spent a whole week in this wonderful house. We really enjoyed the days in this idyllic area. The house is decorated with a lot of love and has everything you need for a vacation. Birgitta’s house is absolutely beautiful! Both the house and the backyard, not to mention the views over the fields are just stunning. All of us staying were blown away by the historic charm and abundance of space - we would love to come stay again!
