Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Garfagnana

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

L’alloggio di Alessandro è ottimo per chi vuole staccare dal caos della città, si trova in una posizione tranquilla ed immersa nel verde ma comunque vicina ad un sacco di zone di interesse come Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) e così via… è un posto molto strategico, sopratutto se si hanno animali domestici con sè. La nostra bassottina - Focaccia - ha potuto scorrazzare liberamente nell’immenso giardino che si trova davanti all’alloggio - luogo in cui io ed il mio compagno abbiamo deciso ogni sera di far cena godendoci lo splendido tramonto 🌇 L’alloggio è bello, nuovo e dotato di una cucina davvero super rifornita (abbiamo anche potuto far la pizza!). La presenza di un condizionatore inoltre ci ha fatto molto piacere. Sicuramente ci torneremo, lo consigliamo fortemente 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro è stato sempre super disponibile nel rispondere ad ogni mia domanda e nel darmi preziosissimi consigli su cosa vedere/dove mangiare etc. Grazie Alessandro per l’infinita pazienza ?

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Babys in der schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, der Garten wunderschön und großzügig, der Blick sagenhaft und die Ruhe ein Genuss. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und die Kommunikation war während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr schnell und hilfreich - auch bezüglich Tipps für Restaurants oder Ausflugsziele. Wir kommen gerne wieder, herzlichen Dank!

Due giorni di relax e pace. Posto bellissimo. Casa attrezzata di tutto . Appartamento piccola ma allo stesso tempo,spaziosa. Il letto comodissimo. Zona bellissima x fare delle camminate. Ovviamente x arrivare al mare ci vuole la macchina. L’unica pecca, se una ha la macchina grossa è che non si riesce ad arrivare direttamente davanti alla casa perché la strada è stretta . Ma questo è stato comunicato in anticipo. Non abbiamo avuto problema. Grazie mille Maria Victoria x tutto. Torneremo sicuramente. Un saluto anche a Shaggy , il cane di casa. Simpaticissimo.😍

Een fantastisch verblijf met adembenemende uitzichten welke nooit zullen vervelen. Vanaf deze locatie heb je de mogelijkheid om vele bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken (Bologna, Modena, proeverijen, hikes etc), om vervolgens weer echt ‘thuis’ te komen. Bedankt voor het delen van deze magische plek en de enorme gastvrijheid Paul en Ruth.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Dunia’s place in Stazzema was super clean and comfortable, in a beautiful serene surrounding. Dunia and Claudia were great hosts, wonderful people really; they helped us with finding hiking trails, and even borrowed us their walking sticks, we felt very welcome and well taken care of. The area around Stazzema has striking natural features such as waterfalls, springs, mountains ranges and a huge natural bridge-like rock formation which is visible from the village. Fully recommend if you are looking for peace and nature.

We loved it here! It was such a sweet little home and so beautiful. The views are amazing and our host was so kind. She gave us a great dinner recommendation and was helpful with any questions we had! Great stay would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Es war eine tolle schöne Erfahrung und wenn wir wieder nach Lucca reisen würden. Dann wüsste wir sofort wo wir was buchen.

Excellent logement a proximité de tout a pied. La gare est à moins de 5 mn. idéal pour les visites de villages. Fabio a pris beaucoup de temps pour nous donner les conseils afin de découvrir la région

Heerlijke accommodatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Elias en Egle hebben ons goed geholpen met nuttige tips in de omgeving. Ook kwamen ze ons ophalen bij aankomst zodat wij achter ze aan konden rijden en we direct goed zouden rijden, erg gewaardeerd. Absoluut een aanrader!

Aller à Pistoia et profiter d'une magnifique soirée d'été, flâner sur la Piazza del duomo, une glace à la main, en contemplant la cathédrale et le baptistère. Pistoia, la petite Florence, vous invite à prendre le temps de vivre tout en vous dévoilant la beauté de la renaissance Toscane. Dans cette ville, un palais du 16ème siècle abrite un magnifique appartement. Son intérieur, rythmé par les croisées d'ogives rappelant son histoire, vous accueille à bras ouvert après une journée de visite. Les anciens escaliers de service dans la buanderie, rappellent qu'à l'époque, cet endroit était la cuisine de cette noble famille habitant le palais. Ces traces du passé laissent sans problème la place à la modernité et l'aménagement du lieu mêle design et authenticité. À moins d'une heure de Florence, Pise, Lucca, Vinci ou de la mer, Pistoia est sans nul doute extrêmement bien située. Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

Casa Maria Rosa was perfect for our family in every way. It’s a spacious flat in a fantastic location. Keep in mind that you can’t drive your luggage all the way to the door and the nearest parking we found (paid) was a half mile from the flat (10 min walk). I understand that a taxi CAN drive your luggage all the way to the door so you might consider that if needed.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Mirko und Marino war schlichtweg perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet, sondern auch ein Ort voller Ruhe und Charme. Was diesen Ort jedoch wirklich besonders macht, sind die Gastgeber selbst: Mirko und Marino sind unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, sie standen uns bei jeder Frage zur Seite und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, bei Freunden zu sein. Man spürt ihre Leidenschaft und Gastfreundschaft in jedem Detail. Auch ihre zwei Hunde waren sehr ruhig, verspielt und haben das Gesamtbild wunderbar abgerundet. Der Pool, die Natur und die besondere Atmosphäre machen diesen Ort zu einem kleinen Paradies. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder, es war eine unvergessliche Erfahrung!

If we could give this place 6 stars, we would! We had an unforgettable stay in this private apartment in the mountains - an isolated abode feeling far removed from the crowds. We stayed for over a week and the breathtaking views never got old. Two of our highlights were: 1) walking through a garden/ bushwalking path accessible from the accommodation, meandering through the charming town of Mamiano and finding a suspension bridge with incredible views; and 2) Abetone hike to Lago Nero - a stunning (and moderately challenging) wooded walk which leads you out into a dramatic meadow and a small dark lake. We had both of these walking tracks totally to ourselves! The place is walkable to the lovely town of San Marcello and drivable to places like Pistoia, Florence, Pisa and more. Beyond all this, Gianna was a generous host, making sure our stay was comfortable (e.g. brought us firewood when we were cold)! The cherry on top were her friendly dog Gina, cats and chickens. Hope to be back!

Die Unterkunft von Peter hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen ! Vor allem der Außenbereich mit toller Aussicht zwischen den Apfelbäumen und Traubensträuchern war der Wahnsinn. Zudem war dieser komplett eingezäunt-also ideal für Hundebesitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

Nestled in the mountainside is the Tuscan stay of your dreams. In a villa designed by a renowned architect, you are surrounded by not only incredible views of mountains, valleys and the sea, but also have stunning accommodations. Every detail has been thought of in this home from comfortable living spaces, to luxe fireplaces and high quality beds. We highly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous villa. One of the best parts of the time we spent here, though, was our wonderful host, Letitzia. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic when one of our guests was ill, bringing meals to her while the other guests were out. Additionally, we can't recommend enough joining the dinner sessions they offer for guests throughout the week. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what you would want from a home cooked meal in Tuscany.

The house was exceptionally clean and located in a great area. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking. I highly recommend staying here if it’s available, and I would definitely return if I get the chance.

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Our Villa in Montespertoli was everything we could have wished for and more, full of all the modern conveniences required to cook if desired. The grounds were absolutely delightful and the hillside backdrop of grapevines etc was stunning to wake up to every morning in a secluded and peaceful place. We enjoyed many mornings having coffee around the poolside deck and afternoons sharing a glass of wine chatting with our friends after our many touring adventures. You definitely need to have a car to enjoy this Villa and surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, hot Springs, San Gimignano to name a few. Our Caretaker Lia cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner to share on our last night which we enjoyed immensely. Thankyou for hosting us in your home, we didn’t want to leave.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.
