Waterfront vacation rentals in Galway

La météo était mauvaise, et notre hôte nous a avertit que le logement était libre une heure plus tôt. Un grand merci à lui pour ce suivi et l'accueil. Le studio est paisible, très proche des restaurants et commerces. Le bourg de Clifden est à proximité (30 mn de voiture) de nombreuses attractivités touristiques. La découverte du Connemara en séjournant à Clifden a été très agréable.

Patricia war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Das Studio ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Patricia hatte uns sehr viele nützliche Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in Westport gegeben. Wir fanden dort gute Restaurants und eines der besten irischen Pubs.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend in Westport . The place was pristine, stylish and absolutely perfect for us. The location is ideal - with lots of great options for food and coffee on the doorstep overlooking the quay. The hosts were fantastic and proactive with their communication which made the run up and check out process very easy! We will definitely be back!

Really great spot - an easy walk to the Latin Quarter, the Westend, and the boarding location for ferries to the Aran Islands. The apartment is beautiful- clean, stylishly decorated, with great views of the water. Getting in involves a bit of a scavenger hunt and a series of codes, but Martin sent excellent instructions that made it easy. Highly recommend!

On a passé un super séjour en famille pendant 3 nuits. L’arrivée était simple grâce à la boîte à clés, et même si on n’a pas rencontré Elizabeth et Brian, ils ont été très réactifs et sympas par message. Le logement était confortable, bien équipé, et la vue… juste magnifique ! On a vraiment apprécié. Merci encore

We loved our stay in Galway! The apartment had unbelievable views and within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Irene was a fabulous host. Communicated ahead of our arrival and gave great recommendations for Galway as well as our next stop of Dingle. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean. The West End location was perfect. Several pubs, restaurants, coffee shops as well as nightlife a stones throw away. Short walk to Eyre Square, the Latin Quarter and Woodquay. Would recommend a drink at Carrol's Bar just a couple doors down. Traditional Irish music in the front of the pub or more lively outside in the back at the beer garden, "Caravan Club". Would definitely stay at Irene's again.

Traditionelles eines irisches Cottage auf dem Areal einer Farm mit super freundichen Gastgebern. Wer authentisches Irland abseits der ausgetretenen Tourristenpfade sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Das Cottage ist voll ausgestattet mit Küche zum selber kochen und mit eigenem Kamin zum Torffeuer machen. Ein Strand ist in 5 Min zu Fuß erreichbar, die umliegende Landschaft mit dem kleinen See, den Schafen auf der Weide und dem Meer im Hintergrund ist wunderschön, typisch irischer Westen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns bei der Ankunft sogar ein selbstgebackenes Sodabrot und frische Eier vom Hof überreicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a great stay. It was a perfect location that allowed us easy access to all of town. The upstairs bedroom was quite warm while we were there, but Galway was having warmer weather than is normal. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 plus a cot for our infant.

Had a fantastic stay here. The cottage and the area were absolutely lovely and J was so helpful when we’re checking in- he recommended some wonderful hikes and places to eat!

Highly recommend this beautiful house Lorna and Dave were fantastic hosts. The cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Our grandson had a great time with a full play room of toys and plenty of space to play outside. A wonderful stay. We would love to return.

Had a fantastic stay in Sinead's place. A home from home in the centre of everything with beautiful sea views. Sinead is a great host. Looking forward to our next visit!

We were 3 adult couples touring Ireland. The place is lovely with the river running next to the house. Hugh was there to meet us with instructions and recommendations and Anne had left us some homemade brown bread . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village with lovely pubs and music on Thursdays to Sundays. Some lovely walks as well. Overall a great find and would defiantly stay again if in the area. The film The Quiet Man with John Wayne was filmed in Cong in 1951 so worth a watch before you go or you can watch on the DVD provided at the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Geraldine's beautiful seaside retreat and can't say enough positive things about her helpfulness throughout the week. The house is in a quaint location, great for exploring the southwest country. We enjoyed coffee each morning in the sunroom with a beautiful ocean view that couldn't even be ruined by the wild wind and rain. We struggled with operating some areas of the house (showers, thermostat), but Geraldine was right there to respond immediately and help us figure it all out. Please note this is not due to issues with the home, but us being American and unfamiliar. If you stay here to see the Cliffs of Moher, I would strongly encourage that you go south to the Kilkee Cliffs and Bridges of Ross. We found them even more mesmerizing and far less touristy.

Ich werde den Ausblick vermissen. Auch wenn wir weniger Glück hatten mit dem Wetter, morgens und nachmittags auf die Berge und den See zu schauen war ein Traum. Der Weg zum Haus ist mit normalem Auto gut machbar , kann aber dauern wenn mal wieder viel Schafverkehr :-) ist. Die kleine Bank auf dem Hügel am See war mein Highlight. Wir waren nur zu zweit mit 2 Hunden und wir alle haben uns erholt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und Piero hat sich wenn Bedarf war sofort gekümmert. Den Müll auf die andere Seite des Sees bringen war mal was anderes . Wir haben ohne Fernsehn die Zeit gut verbracht. Absolute Ruhe, tolle Regenbögen, großes Haus, schöne Gegend. Und der tolle Platz am Fenster war mein Strickplatz . Patrick hat sich dazwischen auch gemeldet und aktiv gefragt wie es uns geht, was super war. Sicher muss das eine oder andere Bad noch ein Update bekommen, aber man sieht das alles Stück für Stück passend gemacht wird . Vielen Dank das wir deine Gäste sein durften.

un petit coin de paradis, tout simplement. le logement d'Anna est d'une propreté exemplaire, il est super bien équipé, four, micro-onde, plaques électriques, machine à laver, lave-linge. lit très confortable. et puis la vue.... sur des prairies avec des moutons et l'océan derrière. la fenêtre ouverte avec le bêlement et le bruit des vagues, c'est juste le paradis. l'emplacement est vraiment chouette pour visiter le Connemara. petite balade a proximité immédiate pour aller voir le coucher de soleil sur les falaises. on nous a déjà réclamé l'adresse !

Lovely place a few minutes walk to a handful of great pubs and restaurants. Apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels, etc. Great communication from Fiona prior to our stay which included lots of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see in the area.

We absolutely loved this place. Galway is the coolest town and this apartment was stunning. So spacious and clean. You can walk down the street to a strip of restaurants and shops or along the water for a nice walk. Not too far from the Latin Quarter which is so cool. The balcony was amazing, check in was easy, parking spots for our car, it was perfect!

The place is in a great location, walkable to the Latin quarter and restaurants, and close to a car park. Michelle was very responsive to any questions. The place was clean and perfect for our family of 5. Would recommend! 🌟

We had a very enjoyable stay at Catherine's apartment, which was very comfortable, nicely laid out, very well equipped and very spacious. It's located on the top floor, at the rear of the building, which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Another positive is the fact that there is a parking space in the building as on-street parking outside always seemed to be full. It's in a great location, with bars, restaurants etc., in walking distance and there's even a convenience store nearby. We also found the location to be very convenient for access to the various attractions of the area. Overall, we were very pleased to have found this property and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Janet's apartment. very clean, private and perfectly situated in beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend and we will be back sometime in the future.

Amazing stay!!! Private, on the water, amazing views, quiet, spacious, fantastic hosts oh I don't even know where to stop with all the positive! Walk to Ashford Castle which we did, and into the village of Cong, oh what a gem this house, nobody else around you yet so close to all. Thank you for a fantastic stay, I will be back!!!!

the apartment was clean and tidy and it was in a great location. just a 10 minute drive to Croagh Patrick and a few minutes into the centre of Westport. Great to use as a base for exploring Mayo and beyond. Christina and James were very kind with us arriving late at night, leaving some things in the fridge and meeting us on arriving to show us in the place. plenty of local amenities too.
