Ben View Guesthouse, Bed & B'fast

NickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of my favorite stays in Ireland. Eileen and Desmond have a quaint, warm, and welcoming setup in the heart of Clifden. It’s a great spot to be based in to explore Connemara. They were so friendly and helpful and we loved our time there. The breakfast was fantastic and the location was superb. Easy to walk around town and explore the pubs and shops. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Nora’s place - Henry Street - Galway City Centre

AlexRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Nora's. She was so accomodating and helpful—always asking if we needed anything when we walked in the house and leaving out a nice breakfast for us in the morning. Her place is such a short walk away from Quay Street and the main happenings, too. We enjoyed chatting with her and her sister Kitty, who were both keen to see us resolve our flat tire. We wouldn't question staying at Nora's again, as her hospitality, location, and price are all a great value for the Galway area.

Castle Reek View Bed Room's en-suite

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Outstanding is the only way to describe this place. The room was spacious, the ensuite bathroom roomy, squeaky clean with the best shower in the world. The family were super friendly, really welcoming, with nothing too much trouble. I felt very much at home here. Peter gave me some brilliant tips for a tour of the Connemara National park and its nearby coastline. Jo provided some excellent breakfasts and they both gave me some great conversation. Stay here if you are in the area, you will not regret it.

The breakfast had many delicious options and it was a great way to start the day. You really can see the sunset over the Atlantic from the house. Better yet, drive a few kilometers to be right on the ocean.

Double Ensuite

PearseRating, 5 stars94 months ago
This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.
A calm harbor scene features wooden boats anchored in still water, reflecting the vibrant buildings along the shore. A mix of colorful facades, including a bright yellow structure, complements the greenery in the background under a clear blue sky with scattered clouds.
