Family-friendly vacation rentals in Galway

There could be no better location to stay in Galway than this home. What a gem! Incredible neighborhood, beautiful and clean home, and Francis is incredibly responsive. Our time here was perfect!

Wonderful spacious apartment just outside of Galway. Very easy to get in and out of town on the 409 bus. Valerie is a friendly, very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, both exploring the city and doing a day trip to the cliffs of Moher. We would definitely stay here again.

Very much enjoyed our stay! Such a perfect location close to the heart of town. Parking at the Cathedral was a breeze and a 3-4 minute walk. Loved having a washer AND dryer - such a plus!! Charming place.

Patrick was helpful when the satnav took me to the wrong place (Eircode was also not accurate). He was very welcoming and friendly and was happy to advise on local attractions. Good value for money.

Beautiful private home with modern amenities. Amazing location (close to Doonbeg golf) and the views and sunset were spectacular.

A beautiful location and cottage, the wood burner makes it suitable for all weather conditions, and William was kind enough to restock the wood when we ran out. He also offered recommendations for walks and hikes

Mary's place was warm and homey. It is an old Irish cottage. She laid out a nice tea with homemade scones and soda bread for our arrival, which were delicious. She also had many things available for personal needs including food items and health and beauty aids. Mary shared advice on things to see and do in the area. We all enjoyed our stay at Bridgie's Cottage.

We loved our stay in Galway! The apartment had unbelievable views and within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. We were greeted by horses and the extremely sweet little dog Minnie, and then by delicious scones in the apartment. The area is beautiful and we went on several day trips to Connemara National Park, Burren National Park, the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Galway. What's more, the area was just perfect for us and the children. My daughters loved feeding the horses and playing with Minnie the dog. Or, if it rains a little, there is additional room for playing, which is equipped with some toys, table tennis, etc. Maura responded quickly to minor problems and helped us out, and was generally very accommodating. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stop by here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is lovely and had everything we needed; the location is wonderful!

You don’t want to pass up this little gem if you’re looking for serenity with a gorgeous view of Lough Derg and the Irish countryside. The home was spacious and accommodating, with everything we needed. We enjoyed playing some games provided by the host, as well as the fun billiards table. My only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer due to our schedule. Would definitely book again. Thanks.

John's little cottage was beautiful. The views from the cottage stunning. To be able to hear and see the ocean was so tranquil. John was extremely friendly and came to my rescue as I got a flat tyre . My dog Duke loved the beach he explored it for hours . If you want peace and quiet with the most beautiful views John's cottage is a must . I definitely will be going back again . Tbh I didn't want to leave there.

We booked this magnificent home for a portion of our family to attend a vow renewal in the area, and it was everything that we hoped for. With four bedrooms, two living rooms, a huge kitchen and eating space, and gorgeous grounds - the entire group was able to stay comfortably, and enjoy cooking and sharing meals together, without being on top of each other. The furnishings are also very well done. Anne and Maree were extremely helpful, and always available to answer questions. I can highly recommend this listing to others.

Noelines place was beautiful, very cosy and spotlessly clean. she was a lovely lady who was there to greet is when we arrived. It was well equipped with everything we needed. One of the best air bnb stays so far. Thank you Noeline

Fionnuala was extremely friendly, responsive and proactive in her communication. She provided wonderful recommendations. The cottage is adorable in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to Galway City Center as well hiking spots such as Connemara National Park. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Gerry's cottage. We mainly communicated with Bridget and she was very responsive. The town of Kinvara is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the area most days. Thanks Gerry and Bridget for a great stay.

the house was very clean and well mentioned. ita close to Tesco store. our welcome was very well and check in was very smooth. Martina is very good host and an amazing house owner. would recommend to all who love to spend time away from crowd but close to nature.

Rory ist ein äusserst freundlicher und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in seinem Cottage. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist einmalig für alle die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Ein ganz spezielles Kompliment dafür wie schnell die schrecklichen Sturmschäden behoben wurde. Zusammenfassung: gerne wieder!

Wonderful location with walking to many great restaurants and shops. Host was very responsive to any questions we had and the unit was clean, and stocked with all the essentials. Highly recommend this host and unit. Don’t miss out on trying a burger at handsome burger ( our favorite)!!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage! It was charming, quiet, functional and all around delightful. The space was very comfortable and well-appointed. The local town of Oughterard has some great pubs and anything else you need to enjoy a vacation. We found the location to be a great basecamp to explore the whole region.
