Grattan House, Salthill, Galway

MichelleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Saltcliff Cottage - Sea Views to Aran Islands

PatriciaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our family loved the cottage. The views and sunsets were just beautiful. It is 2 minutes from Cliffs if Moher and about 8 minutfrom Doolin. It was a nice touch to have breakfast foods for the first morning. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had a great dinner at Russell Seafood and listened to music at McDermotts.

A beautiful building lovingly restored in a great location if you like walks, beautiful countryside while still being near to towns and villages for a nice meal out. Idyllic spot for a restful holiday in unspoilt nature. Beautiful spacious home, stunning views from all windows, exceptionally confortable beds. Plenty of sofa space and cosy blankets for everyone. We enjoyed reading amd jigsaws by the fire, barbecue dinners on the decking, and relaxining in the jacuzzi in between passing showers. Enjoyed walking to the nearby lakes amd hills, and popping into Cong for afternoon tea and forest walk. Highly recommend this beautiful part of Ireland.

The Crows Nest, Crumlin Park, Ballyglunin, Galway

MatthiasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. We were greeted by horses and the extremely sweet little dog Minnie, and then by delicious scones in the apartment. The area is beautiful and we went on several day trips to Connemara National Park, Burren National Park, the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Galway. What's more, the area was just perfect for us and the children. My daughters loved feeding the horses and playing with Minnie the dog. Or, if it rains a little, there is additional room for playing, which is equipped with some toys, table tennis, etc. Maura responded quickly to minor problems and helped us out, and was generally very accommodating. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stop by here again.

A beautiful location and cottage, the wood burner makes it suitable for all weather conditions, and William was kind enough to restock the wood when we ran out. He also offered recommendations for walks and hikes

Escape to the beautiful countryside

It felt like being home in the Irish countryside. Rita's farmhouse had everything we needed for a long stay including some fresh eggs and other items to get started. It was an absolutely lovely place, and I hope to return!

Knockbroughaun Restored Stone Farm Cottage

VeronicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Pat and Mary Angela are marvellous hosts. When we arrived the fires were lit, the table was set and there were gorgeous scones made by Mary Angela. They are both so friendly and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit. Their lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Galway. It is definitely a home from home. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 2 Jack Russells had a great time there and we had everything we needed. We also loved Pat and Mary Angela's cafe and bookshop in Oughterard Village. Well worth a visit. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough!

Cosy cottage close to the sea and village.

SreeramRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This house is a gem in the An Spiedal area. The house is super private and in a great location, pretty right on the water with view of Water and Aran islands from the kitchen. I had coffee just staring at the sights every morning. You can walk around there property or take a short walk to the beach front. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The town has just enough stores and restaurants to get by and if needed, Galway is maybe 25 mins away. The hosts communicated well and gave clear instructions, read them all, will be useful on your stay. Whatever you need will be in the instructions they provide. Overall a great place to stay and relax. This was the third Airbnb we stayed in Ireland and by far the best in terms of location and scenery. Do visit Galway and also drive to Kylemore Abbey when you are here, both will not disappoint.

200yr 4 Star Cottage on 450 acres

FrancescaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What an absolutely beautiful stay! The house is beautiful and on so much stunning land. John personally came down and gave us a little map with all the paths we could walk on the land which was so helpful. It was a good HQ point as we went on a lot of day trips and I could not recommend this cottage more! Can’t wait to come back!

The location and view were breathtaking - looking out over Fanore beach, nestled against the hills of the Burren. John was flexible and quick to respond. Pet friendly & a small shop + bar nearby. Will stay there again soon. 10/10 would recommend. A true taste of the real Ireland.

Stylish, Bright, Spacious City Centre Apartment.

KristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Ernie’s place. The location is perfect and what made us come back a second time! We enjoyed being a couple doors down from the Crane Bar and being able to pop downstairs to his shop for some snacks. It’s easy to walk to the Latin Quarter while being out of the way on a quiet street.

Such a perfect location and lovely spot to enjoy Galway. On the quieter side of the river yet so close to a vibrant local neighborhood with excellent bars and restaurants. You can walk anywhere, and also easy to park if you have a car. The kitchen is great and the entire place has an excellent layout with everything you’d need. Rory and Ursula are superb hosts! We loved our stay.

The Lakes Wellness Self-Catering Partry, Co. Mayo

JimmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our two nights stay at Barbara’s place. Barbara had been very friendly and accommodating. She walked us around her farm where my daughter was able to feed the lamb, alpacas, donkey, hens and the ducks. MY daughter very much enjoyed the stay and she enjoyed playing with lassie (Barbara’s Pet Dog). Very peaceful place to get away from the hussle and bustle of a hectic city life. We would definitely visit again in the future.

Spiddal, near Galway. On the Wild Atlantic Way.

KathleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I can't recommend Redmond and Sheila's place enough. It sits on the edge of the beautiful Galway Bay, and the daily view of the water, the quiet setting, and the delightful town of Spiddal is just a five-minute walk away. It feels like a welcoming family home with the intimacy and graciousness of a place well-loved and respected by its owners. A fully stocked kitchen, cozy setting, and furnishings, and comprehensive area recommendations from Redmond made this property so welcoming that we wanted to stay forever. Redmond was very responsive with all of our questions, and we felt like we were honored family friends coming to stay. It was one of our favorite Airbnb's of all time, and we would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, cosy apartment for 2 people. Very high standard of insulation. Very well equipped kitchen in terms of pots, pans, utensils, plates etc. Excellent Welcome Pack along with lots of the daily needs .. oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, butter, bread etc etc . . above our standard experience in this respect. Very quiet location but still only 10-15 mins easy walk to Clifden shops, restaurants and pubs. Susan was a very responsive communicator before and during our stay. We would highly recommend.

The Market Perch. Galway City Centre

NickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place! My family and toddler (2 years old) stayed at The Rest. There was a pack and play waiting inside for us like we requested. Bedrooms are upstairs, living room is downstairs which is great if you want to relax while young ones sleep. The place was very clean, and Laura and Dominik’s were very friendly and responsive. Can’t beat the location either, you’re right on a pedestrian street. All attractions very walkable.
