Beachfront vacation rentals in Galway

Absolutely stunning location!!!!! We spent an entire morning climbing on the peninsula, looking in the tide pools, watching the otters play, and seabirds fly. The sheep near by could be seen and heard and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful spot. It was a short drive to Kylemore Abbey and the national park. The shear sense of serenity and freshness was invigorating. The beds were comfortable and the living room was well stocked with reading material for a peaceful evening. My group has already discussed coming back for a longer stay just to enjoy the coastline more.

Location was out of this world. We were very lucky with the weather too. It was one to remember.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Lovely views and so peaceful. House was perfect for us - clean and well equipped. The area is so beautiful, with great walks and beaches nearby. Excellent food at Sweet Nothings and at local pubs. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to be back.

Our stay was picturesque, and everything we could have hoped for. The homes spacious rooms and many windows made it sinfully easy to sit and spend hours sipping coffee and watching the water and scenery. None of us were prepared to leave when our reservation was over, and I certainly left a piece of my heart among the greenery. T was responsive and helpful, and their recommendations for local experiences were invaluable.

The accommodation is clean, spacious, bright and well-equipped, a separate building. It has a perfect sense of privacy and silence. Parking is inside the property, almost under the living room window. It was a pleasant surprise that the third person also got a full-size bed (in the description it was a pull-out sofa). The host was helpful and friendly, he was waiting for us upon arrival. We arrived at low tide, it was a special experience to walk on the sand of the sea and the rocks that had become dry. The stairs leading there are a 2-minute walk. All three of us were happy that we chose this accommodation. Thank you!

What a real treasure of a place. The Hosts - Both Tom and Patricia were outstanding. Very helpful and responsive. The house was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful. The sea directly in front - so close, you can hear the waves lapping on the shore and the burren to the rear. The silence was broken only by the birds singing. A little slice of heaven. Cannot recommend highly enough. we were a group of five ladies - but it would also be just perfect for families. Hoping to return.

Lovely place to stay in . Right at the ocean with great views from the house. Close to all attractions we wanted to visit . Lovely pub just 2km away. Sheila was nice and welcoming, place had all it needed to have even hair dryer. Mattresses were little soft however we slept very good . There are black out blinds in every room. Very quiet place and the views are just magnificent. Definitely will be staying here again.

Anne was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had! She offered to do some laundry for me and my buddies and left it folded nicely for us by the time we returned. Would definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking for an Airbnb on the water

Tres bon sejour. Logement conforme et confortable. Au calme et Tres bien équipé. Vue magnifique depuis la maison. Tres tres belle région. Avons bien randonné. Que de beaux paysages !! Entre mer et montagne, lacs et moutons 😉. Parfait !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Declan. The house was plenty big enough for our group of 8, modern bathrooms and a spacious kitchen. The best of course was the location. A stones throw from the beach and surrounded by nature. We're very grateful for a wonderful weekend in Clare!

Staying in James’ renovated train carriage was pure magic! From start to finish, everything about our stay was unforgettable. The carriage itself is beautifully restored—full of character, charm, and thoughtful touches that made it feel both unique and incredibly comfortable. You can really tell how much care and creativity James has poured into every detail. Waking up surrounded by countryside views, with the soft creak of old wood and the morning light streaming through the windows, was such a peaceful experience. The space was spotlessly clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with all the modern comforts you’d expect—without losing any of the vintage charm. James was a fantastic host: welcoming, helpful, and full of great local tips. It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking for something special and a little out of the ordinary. Highly recommended!

Unusual place to find, but once there it was magnificent. The amenities were so appropriate for multiple adult guests, including facilities for people with mobility issues. There are steps, though the width and incline are manageable for someone with limited issues climbing stairs. Thoroughly recommend for a peaceful stay.

Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Absolutely stunning property. So many high quality little design elements bringing out the nautical theme ⚓️ felt like I was on a boat at sea :)) The big window onto the ocean is a trip. Could have stared out at the waves all day. Will be back

We loved our stay at Rockfield cottage. Great location, Kinvara is close and a lovely place. The house was lovely, super comfy bed and good showers. Thank you for the welcome hamper. We enjoyed our meals together at the cottage and playing the wii.

Top notch experience. Max was very easy to communicate with and answered immediately with the lone question I had. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with gear, and the outdoor area really made it a special stay. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. 3 minute walk to a art gallery/cafe, 4 to the beach, 5 to a restaurant/bar. If this place is available don't screw around, just book it.

Nice townhouse right in the city center which made it easy to explore Galway city. Very easy to check in and out. One heads up that the house overlooks the docks which can be a bit busy and noisy on weekday mornings. It isn't too bad, but something that could impact those who sleep late. Thankfully we were all early risers :)
