Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Galveston

Cute little condo. The complex could use a little TLC; but the condo was super clean. It’s a little on the small side; with four adults it was a bit tight. Two pools and two hot tubs on premise. Beds were comfortable and the AC was super cold! I appreciated the keypad; instead of having to fumble for a key! There were beach towels and toys for our use as well. Literally across the street from the beach; and next to Wal Mart. We were able to book two nights with her for about half the price of a hotel. Definitely worth checking out!

My wife and I were very happy with our stay from start to finish. David and Grace were very proactive in communication before we even arrived. Their condo is very clean and well maintained. It was also exactly as pictured. The property is an older property, but it was clean and and quiet for our weekday stay. David and Grace's condo has been updated and is beautiful and comfortable. The patio view over the pool and to the beach was perfect. The "Little Things" were definitely very well done. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware and even some storage containers. There is a microwave that is not pictured on the listing, which was a welcome bonus. We enjoyed so much that we are booking again in August so our kids can join us next time. Thank you David and Grace for wonderful and affordable stay.

Absolutely loved my stay with Lisa and Robbie! Their place was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of little touches that made it feel like home. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience — every detail was well thought out. On top of that, they were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very cozy place. Felt like home. Great location. Crossing Seawall Blvd to get to the water was easy and could be done with small children. Douglas is a great and prompt communicator. Highly recommend.

This place was great! Loved how there were things to do within walking distance. The inside was beautiful, clean, & super comfortable. I only had a one night stay but everything I needed was accessible. I had a hiccup upon arrival finding the unit but that was my fault, the instructions were definitely clear in the description. It was a very very quiet & secure building, I did feel safe given I was traveling solo. Definitely do recommend for solo travelers. Craig was also kind enough to communicate with me that an early check in was available! Overall, great stay!

Very last minute stay, and hosts were very communicative! Nothing but kind to me and my friends! Their stay was very quiet and lost to do in the area. I would definitely come and stay here again!

This was our second stay at this unit. Daniel and Sam are wonderful hosts—kind and communicative throughout. The unit itself is very clean and beautifully maintained, with stunning beach views from the balcony. Highly recommended! We would love to return in the future.

My family and I use this place for a few nights for a beach soccer tournament and it was all we needed. The location was convenient,it is close to the beach and entertainment area. The complex itself was clean and quiet, the area felt safe. The unit was stocked with everything that we needed and Jesse was responsive.

Easy check in process at the condominium. Staff was helpful and courteous. Plenty of parking . Carts available for loading / unloading. Easy and safe access to the beach. Outside showers available for use prior to coming back in. The unit itself is wonderful. Shanna has the unit well decorated and not lacking for anything. Nice touch with the bottle of wine waiting to greet you. The view of the Gulf and the ships from the 9th floor is incredible. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony while listening to the roaring surf. Shanna had a number of items available in the unit for use at the beach (some beach chairs, cabana for shade, beach wagon). The front desk has a phone number for a third party company if additional equipment is needed for the beach. We really enjoyed our stay @ Shanna's Sea Spot on Galveston Island. She is a great host.

David and Grace’s condo was the perfect location for our getaway in Galveston! We enjoyed the pools and easy access to the beach!

Everything at Rachel’s condo was great! Great view of the beach. As a side note the people in the lobby were not the nicest but it was fine, you only have to check in with them for your parking pass. We had a great time at the condo and appreciated having everything we needed! Walkable distance to the beach and other places near by. I would stay here again!

Our family absolutely loved staying at this home! And it is just that - a home! This does not feel like you’re in a rental and instead feels like you are at your own beach home for a trip to relax. They thought of absolutely everything and we loved every second of it. Gorgeous!

We had such an amazing Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful beach house. It was extremely clean and decorated well. It felt high end and luxurious. We loved the views in the morning and the quiet peaceful vibes. I highly recommend this place!

This is our 4th summer coming to Galveston and this was our best stay! The house was great. The host provided lots of beach equipment/floaties/toys. And of course we enjoyed the golf cart! We will be back! Thank you 💗

What an amazing stay! Me and some of my friends and family stayed here for 2 nights and we absolutely loved every second of it. House was clean, cozy, and well furnished! If you want to visit Galveston and want to explore everything, this place is the way to go! Everything is super close to the house so it makes it very walk able! Host was super kind and respectful and will definitely return some day!

Such a cute and clean ocean bungalow. We were a family of 7, including 2 young boys. We all were comfortable and had things to do and the privacy we needed. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We had a few old friends visit for a couple of hours and they were all impressed with the house and location. (They live in the area, we don't) We left Galveston with many fond memories of our stay at the Sandy Shack. Thanks to wonderful hosts!
