Located on the canal w/ swim deck, ladder and dog ramp. 2 kayaks to use in the canal (We have adult life jackets only). Lots of outdoor space to enjoy fishing/swimming from the deck or under the house away from the sun. There are underwater lights in the canal for great night fishing. The house with boat dock and hot/cold outdoor shower is just 100 meters from West Galveston Bay, easily accessed by the canal. Easy 1000 meters walk/drive to the beach (parking available). Fishing is fantastic in this area even from the dock. 25 minute drive to city of Galveston. The neighborhood has a full service marina, restaurant and bar.

Pete’s Place exceeded our expectations in every way. Tucked along a quiet canal, it provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that was perfect for our family getaway. The back deck quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We made great use of the kayaks, paddling through the canals and soaking in the calm surroundings. The home’s closeness to the beach made it easy to enjoy the sand and surf each day, with the flexibility to return as needed to take care of our dogs. Speaking of which, our dogs had a blast in the large fenced-in yard—it gave them plenty of space to run, play, and relax safely. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore the area. We visited some of the local museums in Galveston. Inside, the home was spacious and comfortable, with more than enough room for the five of us to spread out or find a quiet corner to unwind. Mark was a fantastic host—friendly, easy to reach, and quick to respond to any needs. Best Family Vacation Ever!

The stay was wonderful. Beautiful home, private beach access. The views from the home is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the top deck. The best part was that the private beach was not over crowded and perfect for a getaway. The house had everything you needed including dishes, coffee maker, keriug, blender, dishes, utensils, games, beach towels, etc. Anything you think you need for an Airbnb stay, it was there! Just add people and food and you’re good to go here. I had trouble opening the box to get the key at check in, but the hosts answered immediately to help. Very responsive from booking to leaving. I have no complaints. We rented for my mom’s birthday because she wanted the entire family together and it did not disappoint. We were also please to know they had things to accommodate babies. I would recommend as well as stay again. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Our family had the best time at Tyler’s place. Our family of 8 adults and five kids from 8 years to 10 months were there for five nights and only spent one day at the beach. We enjoyed the pool and all the outdoor spaces. The house is very well maintained, clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.
