Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gafanha da Encarnação

Het was een heel mooi huisje, klein, maar alles was van goed materiaal, fijne douche, mooi ingericht met leuke houtdetails. We sliepen heerlijk met de ramen open en het geluid van het riviertje, verder was het helemaal stil ‘s nachts. Buiten fijne terrassen, heerlijk met onze voeten in het riviertje gezeten, een fantastische omgeving, helemaal vrij uitzicht aan de achterkant van het huis en een lieflijk gehuchtje. We liepen elke dag een half uurtje naar Gois, een mooi dorp met rivier en heerlijke gebakjes bij de paladeria. Wij vonden het heel fijn!

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad, Ines heeft ons van tevoren al heel veel informatie gestuurd en tips om excursies alvast te boeken voor ons verblijf, het huis is van haar moeder en ligt op een park met soortgelijke, veelal privé huizen. Het was geweldig om zo veel ruimte in en rondom het huis tot je beschikking te hebben. Het park ligt op een rustige plek tussen een grote lagune en de Atlantische Oceaan. Het huis heeft letterlijk alles wat je je maar kunt bedenken, het is volledig ingericht, ook om zelf te koken als je dat leuk en lekker vindt. Er is mooi buitenmeubilair dat je kunt gebruiken om buiten te zitten en te relaxen. Het TV scherm is huge, de wifi is voortreffelijk. Ines heeft ons geholpen bij het oplossen van problemen met onze huurauto en heeft ons bovendien aangeboden altijd te willen helpen, ook als we weer terug waren in Nederland, met eventuele (taal)problemen met het autoverhuurbedrijf. Wij vinden Ines een schat van een hostess. Bedankt Ines, voor alles.

Hôtes très accueillants, super gentils et généreux. La chambre était propre, sentait bon. On a passé un agréable séjour. Merci beaucoup pour tout. Flavie et Victor 🥰

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en familia en la casa de Joao. Es un lugar realmente especial, con un diseño arquitectónico muy cuidado y una preciosa decoración. La casa es amplia, muy luminosa y armónica, lo que facilita una magnífica convivencia. El patio-jardín es un lugar inmejorable para leer, charlar o darse un baño, muy calmado y silencioso. Y el bosquecillo que lo rodeo pone la guinda si quieres darte un pequeño paseo. La atención de Joao fue siempre inmejorable, ¡muchas gracias!

Family of 9 we spent 3 days at the property. Paddleboard, Visited Barra, Costa Nova fish market, Aveiro and long beach walks. would recommend.

Fernando stond altijd voor ons klaar, maar liet ons ook heel prive, het huis was fijn, slaapkamers prima, en een hele fijne tuin. in de ochtend waren er verse broodjes, en het huis was goed voorzien. Wij voelden ons heel welkom en hadden een goede week.

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

Uma estadia absolutamente inesquecível! A casa é de tirar o fôlego – lindíssima, confortável, cheia de charme e com tudo o que é preciso para relaxar e aproveitar. Mas o que torna este lugar ainda mais especial é o anfitrião: extremamente atencioso, presente e genuinamente preocupado com o bem-estar dos hóspedes. Tivemos um problema com o carro durante a viagem e ele foi incansável a ajudar-nos, com uma generosidade que não se encontra facilmente. Mais do que uma estadia, vivemos uma experiência. Sentimo-nos cuidados, em segurança e profundamente gratos por tudo. Recomendo de coração esta casa – quem tiver a sorte de cá ficar, vai entender o que é verdadeira hospitalidade. Um lugar que fica na memória… e no coração!

Absolutely a perfect find. Peaceful. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries. Home made jam and honey. Aveiro a nice place to visit. Also the painted houses on the coast. Margarida is a superhost indeed.

si tengo que encontrar alguna pega a esta estancia, serían los mosquitos. El resto fue todo estupendo. El anfitrión fue súper amable, estuvo pendiente y nos recomendó muchos lugares. La casa a demás de ser preciosa y de estar muy limpia también estaba llena de cosas a nuestra disposición. Hemos estado en muchos alojamientos y de varios países diferentes, y nunca habíamos visto algo tan completo y acogedor como este lugar. lo recomiendo al 100%, el precio es algo caro pero cuando llegamos entendí que mereció totalmente la pena. a nuestro perrito también le gusto mucho :)

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön! Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Ausstattung lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat uns bestens empfangen und beraten bei Fragen Gerne wieder!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Prachtige, bijzondere en historische plek. Klein schattig huisje, van alles voorzien. Af en toe druk met toeristen maar doordat je er slaapt heb je de bijzondere omgeving vaak ook weer helemaal voor jezelf! Wij hebben ervan genoten.

Really good space, specially if you’re looking for a calming space with the beach close by and somewhere to relax with family or friends.

Wir haben uns in der Zweizimmerwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Bestens ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Herd und Waschmaschine! Hier kann man es länger aushalten, die Ausstattung entspricht mehr einem Privathaushalt als einer Ferienwohnung. Die Dusche ist prima, leider fehlt eine Entlüftung im Rohrsystem, das stört jedoch kaum. Besonders toll ist der Kamin im Wohnzimmer. Rodrigo’s Wohnung liegt im dritten Stock, daher ist es ruhig. Der Balkon ist schön sonnig und man kann hier Wäsche aufhängen. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden, und das allerbeste: Der Mega Strand ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt.

The apartment was clean, modern and spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Several windows gave great views of the gondolas on the canal. Light filled the apartment during tne day but highly effective blackout blinds made sleeping at night a pleasure. We didn't have a car but everything was within walking distance. Walking back and forth to the train station took about 20 minutes each way. The bus stop to catch the public bus to the beach at Costa Nova is just a short walk from the apartment. Both Ely and Fatima were friendly, responsive and helpful. We would love to return some day.

Tuvimos una excelente estadia, la casa está cómoda, super limpia, y muy acogedora. Tiene una tienda y panaderia muy cerca. Volveriamos sin duda.

A casa de Pedro é espetacular, conforme o que está no anúncio, muito agradável, acolhedora e está muito bem localizada, com comercio ao pé e também com uma maravilhosa praia a 5 minutos a pé. O espaço é fantástico tanto para nós como também para a nossa amiga e companheira de 4 patas. Lugar para voltar..... 10****

After the initial check-in hiccup with the lockbox, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joana's apartment. The decoration is very calming - she has a talent for interior design. We loved the private outdooor garden and the separate suite. The neighborhood was so unique and we appreciated the parking lot down the road. We would definitely return to her delightful space in Aveiro.

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.
