It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Ines is a wonderful person and excellent communicator that responds quickly. She met us upon arrival to show us around and was so thoughtful to leave us fresh fruit and snacks. She also has a vast knowledge of local places to visit, the Portuguese culture, driving tips, restaurants and more. The home was perfect for the 3 of us. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The home is cozy with a working fireplace, a back yard to bask in the sun, great WiFi, and heaters for comfort as needed. Numerous restaurants, local convenience shops, cafes and a cool mall (Vida Ovar) within 10 to 20 min driving. Definitely recommend having a car to explore. I highly recommend her home for a wonderful visit.

The apartment was perfect, the area was quiet, 2 minutes from the beach, there were good restaurants nearby and the apartment matched the description provided. We would recommend it!

Amazing house, extremely cozy and beautiful. The territory feels very private with the beautiful pool. We used the bbq which was nice. Creative and aesthetic interior. So pleasant host. No words, it was just perfect 🔥

Family of 9 we spent 3 days at the property. Paddleboard, Visited Barra, Costa Nova fish market, Aveiro and long beach walks. would recommend.

Fernando was always there for us, but also left us very private, the house was nice, bedrooms fine, and a very nice garden. in the morning there were fresh rolls, and the house was well equipped. We felt very welcome and had a good week.

An absolutely unforgettable stay! The house is breathtaking – beautiful, comfortable, full of charm and with everything you need to relax and enjoy. But what makes this place even more special is the host: extremely attentive, present and genuinely concerned with the well-being of the guests. We had a problem with the car during the trip and he was tireless in helping us, with a generosity that is not easily found. More than a stay, we live an experience. We feel cared for, safe and deeply grateful for everything. I wholeheartedly recommend this house – whoever is lucky enough to stay here will understand what true hospitality is. A place that stays in your memory... and in your heart!

Absolutely a perfect find. Peaceful. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries. Home made jam and honey. Aveiro a nice place to visit. Also the painted houses on the coast. Margarida is a superhost indeed.

if I had to find a downside to this stay, it would be the mosquitoes. The rest was all great. The host was super friendly, attentive and recommended many places. The house, besides being beautiful and very clean, was also full of things at our disposal. We have been to many accommodations and from several different countries, and we have never seen anything as complete and welcoming as this place. I recommend it 100%, the price is a bit expensive but when we arrived I understood that it was totally worth it. our little dog also liked it a lot :)

Little paradise on earth. Luckily I was able to stay this weekend because some guest, decided to mess up with security system of the house and was either expelled or invited to leave... The cameras are outside, for eaven sake, either you planing to do something iligal or they wont bother you at all. As a global traveler been everywhere, but this place is really special. The place is huge, well decorated. The cherry on top of the cake, I was able to catch my own oranges and avocatos from the garden... incredible! The host was amaizing, not intrusive but always there to help if necessary

A genuinely perfect holiday home. Stunning location, wonderful pool, amazing to have a grass 5-a-side football pitch for the kids. Host was helpful, flexible and kind.

Beautiful location, right next to the river and the mill. Bruno was a communicative and helpful host. It's very small, as it says in the description, but for 2 nights was ok.

Really good space, specially if you’re looking for a calming space with the beach close by and somewhere to relax with family or friends.

Everything was as promised!

The apartment was clean, modern and spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Several windows gave great views of the gondolas on the canal. Light filled the apartment during tne day but highly effective blackout blinds made sleeping at night a pleasure. We didn't have a car but everything was within walking distance. Walking back and forth to the train station took about 20 minutes each way. The bus stop to catch the public bus to the beach at Costa Nova is just a short walk from the apartment. Both Ely and Fatima were friendly, responsive and helpful. We would love to return some day.

We had a great stay, the house is comfortable, super clean, and very cozy. There is a shop and bakery very close. We would definitely go back.

My second time in this house and I can only say that I love, they are very dear people who are always available, the house is very cosy and makes me feel at home, In Brief I will return ♥️

The house of Pedro is spectacular, according to what is in the ad, very nice, welcoming and very well located, with a shop on the foot and also with a wonderful beach 5 minutes walk. The place is fantastic for us as well as for our friend and partner with 4 legs. Place to return..... 10****

After the initial check-in hiccup with the lockbox, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joana's apartment. The decoration is very calming - she has a talent for interior design. We loved the private outdooor garden and the separate suite. The neighborhood was so unique and we appreciated the parking lot down the road. We would definitely return to her delightful space in Aveiro.

Paulo's place is absolutely stunning. It is even more beautiful in real than on the photos. The kitchen is unique and it is great to spend time there. The whole house is furnished with traditional Portuguese furniture and decorated with sublime taste. The bathrooms are amazing! A real experience and highly recommended.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect — the most magical location we've ever booked with Airbnb! The Mushroom House is stunning, with its unique architecture and beautiful, cosy interior that’s perfect year-round. The view is unbeatable — breathtaking sunsets over the sea, and we even spotted dolphins! The beach is just steps away with private access, which made the experience feel extra special. It truly doesn’t get better. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond and full of great tips (thank you Claudio — the Pastel de Nata at Dionísio was unforgettable!). Check-in and check-out were smooth and flexible, tailored to our needs. We couldn’t recommend this place more. An unforgettable escape!
