100-year-old dormitory guest house toco.

GabrieleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
super nice for a 4 night stay in Tokyo! it’s close to two train stations so it’s easy to get to from the airport and then get anywhere else, but for someone who likes to walk a lot (like me), it’s in good proximity to Asakusa and Akihabara which is great! The kitchen/common area is a bit small but very cozy, and the dorm rooms are bunk beds that are also very comfortable. The only thing I’d say is that it can get a bit noisy if people are walking around/talking at night, but it is a 120ish year old building so that’s to be expected. The hosts are really friendly and did a great job explaining the place and were happy to help with any questions :) and you get one free drink at the bar attached to it every night! Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Wagokoro Standard Japanese-Style Room

This is my favorite place I stayed in Tokyo. If you want something relaxing, traditional, and charming, here is your place. It was advertised to me as a ryoken, I would say it is more ryoken inspired and not a true one. However you can't beat the price.

We had great pleasure to stay at Risa’s house. Together with her dogs she provided us with highest quality of care. House is located out of noisy part of a city it is a great hub to relax and regenerate after long days outside. Would highly recommend to anyone needing safespace while in Tokyo.

High-speed Wi-Fi and comfortable remote work

This has been one of the most seamless and perfectly managed Airbnbs I have stayed in. Kudos to Takemasa and the team who runs it, I ams o curious to know how you all run this space so efficiently. It's spotlessly clean, very comfortable, all the amenities and comforts that one needs for a comfortable stay. The room is decently sized with everything you need inside so you can live in your space like your home. Everything is automated so you don't need to bother anyone for anything and manage by yourself. Thank you for your hospitality and I will stay here again for sure. About the location - it does take time to get to Tokyo's hotspots but I feel it's really worth it because this neighbourhood is quiet with some fun places around too. And frankly, in Tokyo it does take time to get anywhere so don't judge this place by it's location, you will be just fine :)

Miyoko-san was very welcoming and treated me just as her daughter. I felt just like at home at Miyoko-san's home. The guestroom and the bed were comfy, making the stay incredibly calm and nice. The neighbourhood is quiet and nice. Always enjoyed chatting with Miyoko-san as well!🫶🏼 I will definitely go back again and stay longer.

"WabiSabi" house Room Garden/Skytree/Asakusa

BenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Clean, comfortable, cosy tatami room in a restored traditional Japanese home. Located in a quiet, very local suburb. Tetsuya and Kayo are great hosts. The walls are thin but this is not uncommon and should be expected for a traditional house, and Tetsuya thoughtfully provides ear plugs. Highly recommend
