Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Frio River

This place absolutely exceeded all our expectations! The cabins were fantastic, and the sunset views from the hot tub were truly unforgettable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the living room offered plenty of space to relax, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was exceptional—responsive, easy to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing trip. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

Our family of 14 had more than enough room to have different activities at one time. Pool was a blessing and family enjoyed evenings swimming and playing. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our family as well. Was close enough to attractions which was also a plus. Thank you for sharing your home this past week.

Great place, and Cathy is great. Only main thing that bothered us, which we may have missed during booking is the trash you have to take off the property and pay at their garbage disposal place on certain days of the week or take home.

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

⸻ This was, without a doubt, my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in—and I’ve stayed in many! From the moment we arrived, it felt like peace and beauty wrapped into one perfect place. The setting was serene, the home was spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully designed to help you truly relax and let go of any stress you walked in with. The farmhouse exceeded all expectations. Honestly, our favorite day of the trip was the one where we didn’t leave the property—we just stayed put and soaked it all in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the pillows were amazing, and the outdoor space (including the pool!) was everything we could’ve hoped for. There’s not a single thing I would change. We will absolutely be back, and I recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for a peaceful, restorative getaway. Simply perfect.

The place was very well done with new furnishings and well-supplied kitchen. Loved the big screen TVs. Entire house was immaculately clean. Looks like the neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying. Just off a major road with all the conveniences and some nice restaurants. Short drive to everything but not really walkable. Would definitely stay here if I was back in San Antonio for an event.

We loved the location and ability to bring our dog along while we were in the area to visit Garner State Park. Kelli was very responsive, thoughtful, and helpful.

Immaculate little cabin on a beautiful and peaceful of property. I booked this AirBNB because of its proximity to both Luckenbach and Fredericksburg, as we were in town for a show at Luckenbach. The beautiful pool also stood out, as most don’t have this amenity. The cabin was exactly as described. The host left a nice bottle of red wine from local winery Becker, which is a great one. She also left some snacks for us which were appreciated late night lol. The bathroom was good size with a beautiful shower with nice array of products and soft towels. The bed was super comfortable as well and the AC cooled the place perfectly. There was a fire pit right outside and a little front porch too for sitting. Just a perfect stay at this most amazing property. Highly recommend and will return in the future.

The resort is beautiful! Spectacular views, peaceful and lots to do in the area. The apartment was very clean, and resort staff very responsive and helpful.

Amazing location if you want to never leave the parking lot! Just walk down main and shop and eat and home is steps away! Lovely inside. Perfectly clean and comfortable.

This condo in Concan was very peaceful & relaxing. Lost Maples & Garner State Park are not far & worth visiting! Definitely recommend this condo!

The place was just as described and looked better than in the photos. Just wish there had been a restaurant onsite. It was just me and I was attending a conference and the ease of a restaurant would have made it more convenient for me personally. With that said, there was everything needed to cook and prepare meals whether it be in the fully stocked kitchen full of supplies or the outside grill. There were plenty of trails to walk and explore. I’d definitely recommend to others and would like to return again and get full use of the pool area and scenery.

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

Mu's place was one of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed at. Plenty of room and in a nice neighborhood. A larger family would not be disappointed staying here.

Fay was a great host, she was very responsive and accommodating. The place was nice and clean, had all the things to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely rent again if in San Antonio

We had a wonderful stay! The kids had so much fun—especially enjoying the swimming pool, which was clean, well-maintained, and had great shade to keep it cool during the day. Carlos was a very nice and thoughtful host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this place for families looking to relax and have fun!

We rented the townhouse for our family members since our house did not accommodate all 21 family members that came for Christmas. Shawn’s place is in our subdivision so it worked beautifully. The group that stayed there were very happy with their accommodations.

We traveled to Helotes to visit our son on pass from the Texas Army Guard and take in a show at John T. Floores. We ended up with so much more thanks to Linda's beautiful home. The pool and out door area were amazing and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable rental bed ever. We also enjoyed cooking outdoors at the bar area and in the large well equipped kitchen. we would absolutely book this again.
