House vacation rentals in Freyung-Grafenau

We stayed with Yvonne and Karl for 11 days over New Year's Eve and would do it again at any time. The luxurious and eclectically equipped house had all the amenities we needed to recover and regain strength for us. Even with a toddler (8 months) it was no problem as long as the little one doesn't get from A to B. We will definitely come back again if the little one is old enough to be able to walk safely through the house. Until then, we wish Yvonne and Karl only pleasant guests and the best for the future ! Beautiful house with lots of space in nature. No immediate neighbors and with a large property directly by the forest.

A great family vacation. The house is great. In the kitchen is everything that is needed. The beds freshly made, everything clean. The electrical appliances all work perfectly.

Quietly located, you can enjoy the great house with sauna and jacuzzi and use the time to relax and for the family. Jaroslav answered every question quickly in advance and everything worked out great and was prepared for us as an extended family. For the most necessary food, there was a supermarket in the next village (24/7) and due to the proximity to Austria we found a local butcher and baker with great products. We will be happy to come back ... pure relaxation!

The house was very well equipped. It has everything that you need while staying at someones house. The accommodation had a very homely atmosphere. There were plenty of towels to use and were given even more on arrival. The place was hard to find however once contact was made with Adriana, she came and picked us up very promptly and was communicating up to the arrival. Everything we asked she provided with a smile and wonderful attitude. Our privacy was respected and honoured. The pool, sauna and the massage shower was amazing. There was an area for sunbathing near the pool outside. 5 stars 🌟 amazing holiday perfect for families with children. The local village does not have a shop however a city was only 15-20 minutes away and it had a lot of supermarkets and shopping centres. Very close to Austria and Germany border less than an hour away if fancy a visit, Prague two hours away. Would definitely return in the future.

We had a great short vacation in a very nice place. The apartment was spotlessly clean and furnished with a lot of love. The wellness area was a dream. The hot tub was pure relaxation. In the sauna, you could really relax. The outdoor pool is a nice cool-down on hot days. Thank you Sandra, we had a great break. 🙋🏻‍♀️

We are two adults and three children (7, 6 and 1). Staying in the vacation home was super cozy, the space was sufficient and with the help of the sauna, we could end our day every evening. There are several hiking trails to discover the area as well as other ways to pass the time in bad weather (animal shelter, several ice halls, glass museum...). Communication with the hosts was straightforward. They were really nice and informed us about everything important. They were also always reachable. We highly recommend the place (also the second slightly larger house).

The Klause is a nature pure wellness oasis in a beautiful and secluded location. The hot tube and sauna are definitely worth booking. Matthias is a great host who is very helpful and spontaneously fulfilled wishes (garden shower, sauna aroma). The house and property still has so much potential and you can feel Matthias still has many plans and is open to improvements. What's good to know: House is completely self-sufficient via solar power. Only 3 cars are allowed to park at the house, other cars are 1 km away. Hot water is heated in the boiler with wood.

Beautiful little cottage, if you want to enjoy nature, this is the place to be. You can do great hikes. Diana is super nice and helpful, we will be happy to come back!

For those who, like us (2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs), are looking for peace and a beautiful landscape with forest and meadows, Lucie's cozy house is ideal. It is simple and functional, and we felt very comfortable immediately. With the dogs, we were quickly in the forest, and the pretty garden is conveniently fully fenced. Lucie is a very friendly host - thank you also for the fine chocolate! -, was always quickly available and very helpful. Thank you, Lucie! We highly recommend the house and would be happy to come back!

Lovely place, great location

We had a great week in the apartment and felt completely comfortable! The apartment is surprisingly spacious – it looks even bigger in real life than in the pictures – and also the garden is really big, which was great for playing football together, for example. A highlight was definitely the jacuzzi, which we had a lot of fun. From the house you can start directly to hikes, but we also took a trip to the small Arbersee and took a beautiful tour there. In general, it is helpful to arrive by car because it makes it simply more flexible in terms of activities. The communication with the landlords was consistently great – friendly, straightforward and fast. Overall we had a really nice time and can only recommend the place!

The house matched the description and photos. We had 2 dogs with us, so we really appreciated the children's gate between the hallway and the living room, as well as the fenced garden, where it was also possible to park. The host responded quickly and was very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend :)

Marion was very helpful with me receiving a DHL express delivery sent from our home town of Coldstream, British Columbia, Canada. 🇨🇦 She contacted me when the parcel arrived and even sent me pictures of an important document that was inside my parcel. This was super helpful. Thank you. 🤗

A beautiful house located right on the lake, access is easily possible. The house is perfect for families with kids, there are many different options for all ages. The amenities themselves are upscale and in great condition. Charcoal grill and sauna are also available. A parking space for one car is available directly at the house, additional parking spaces are about 100 meters away. The entire complex is very well maintained and in excellent condition. We would book again anytime, absolute recommendation. Communication was possible at any time and without problems.

It’s a great house and the garden is beautiful. I cannot recommend this stay enough, just the atmosphere, the view, the garden, the quiet. It’s all great!

Astrid's house is a small gem where we felt immediately comfortable! We were on excursions a lot and were able to relax really well in the evening and sit on the newly made terrace. It has everything you need. The lake restaurant only had warm food until 8 pm in the summer, but it was cheap with large portions. At the lake, there is a great large playground, which is only about 15 minutes walk from the "triangle" (that's what the kids lovingly named the house). We would definitely come back!! :)

despite we only had constant rain, we had a nice stay. Vladimir gave us tips for indoor activities. Communication was very nice. Nice view.

we arrived a little later after some complications, this was no problem at all. We were warmly welcomed and immediately a tour with an explanation of everything. Everything was super clean and there was even some goodies to drink ready. We got some more fun tips for the area. We felt right at home. This airbnb is definitely recommended, we would love to come back here

The space is really very special. Communication with the host was great. We just had some trouble getting there, as the listing address doesn't match the one in Airbnb. We then found out via Google maps. Otherwise, everything was really great!

We felt very comfortable. There is not much privacy, but if you don't have a problem with it, it is a beautiful place for a few days off. The area is ideal for great hikes and the donkeys were a small highlight. If you like it simple and cozy, this is the place to be

We spent 10 days of summer vacation here House is very exceptional! The roof terrace was the highlight for us! The location of the house just down the road first irritated us a bit, but we were mostly on the road during the day and still felt comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. In the village there is a bakery, café and Edeka, which is very convenient. You are also quickly in Passau and there are many nearby excursion destinations. We had a great holiday overall. Jochen was a very nice host.
