Family-friendly vacation rentals in French Quarter, Charleston

Everything was exactly as described and the location was FANTASTIC for traveling with small kids. Tamra & Lisa were great communicators ahead of and during our stay, even welcoming us with wine and cheese. Everything was comfortable and the pack n play & high chair on site were a great bonus. The kitchen is fully, full equipped if you like to do some cooking at “home” like we do. There are some fragile items at curious tot level but the living areas are child friendly. Absolutely recommend these hosts and this stay!

Our stay was like a home away from home…our host John is the best host we’ve had yet!! Quick reply’s very friendly and helpful…the home was equipped with everything you need with the sweetest final Touches …the pool and hottub were soo relaxing …such a peaceful setting inside and out i would recommend this home over and over and any home hosted by John…thankyou for everything John!!

I have stayed all over Wild Dunes over the past 20 years. This was definitely one of the best I've stayed in. Beautiful, clean condo with beautiful views! Wish we could've stayed longer!

It was really clean and smelled nice. he also provided a lot of towels which was nice. everything worked how expected and the property is beautiful.

This house was a great spot for our large group. A quick hop across the street to beautiful open beaches. A quick and beautiful walk right down the beach to restaurants, shops. We all agreed- we’d come back!

Doreens place is a perfect spot for a beach vacation! We love Folly beach and it was so easy for us to take our small kids back and forth to the beach and pool. Great restaurants in a short walking distance.

This was our second time staying at the Sea Urchin! We had such an amazing time! The pool and fenced in backyard is perfect for our family. We walked to the beach and to dinner! Everything was awesome! We’ll be back!

We were in town celebrating my brother’s wedding, and Joseph’s home was the perfect place to unwind and spend time with family. The pool area was beautiful! He was extremely responsive and the home was very comfortable and well equipped.

Very nice home a short walk from so many things! Our stay was perfect. We even had a drain clog on our HVAC and they had it repaired within a couple of hours after we reported it! We appreciated the prompt response. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Within a half hour walk of sites, shopping and restaurants. Construction in the area but never bothered us. Sound machine in the front bedroom near the street was nice. Table outside back was nice for morning coffee but we needed a little bug spray out there.

We had a group of 7 girls stay here and it was plenty of space. This was a beautiful spot with a big porch and great location! Only a few minute walk to King Street. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Amy’s place was beautiful and historic. It was updated and felt comfortable while still maintaining that old southern charm. We also loved being right off of King St.

The perfect Charleston getaway for a trip with 2 small toddlers. Close to the beach, downtown, lots of parks, the aquarium and children's museum. The house was perfect for small kids. No stairs, highchair and pack n play provided, a small selection of toys and TV with streaming services like Disney+. Dany thought of it all, chances are if you forgot something, it's there, kitchen has everything you need including condiments/coffee filters/pam spray/etc and laundry detergent. He also has some beach chairs, umbrella, toys and plenty of towels for use which was super helpful. There was enough space for the 4 of us to be comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood has some sketchy houses but honestly, we felt safe and the neighbors were lovely. Dany was very helpful and accommodating and was a wonderful host. It was a vacation full of core memories for all of us.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tricia’s place and it was perfect for the two of us! The apartment was super clean and cute. The bed and linens are comfortable as well. Considering this unit is a pet friendly place, we did not notice any signs of pets being in the unit previously—that’s how clean it was. We found that the location was truly the perfect spot between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach as Tricia listed. Another plus is that Ubers are readily available and cost around $8-$15. Tricia and Erik were both very welcoming and friendly. Tricia gave us so many recommendations on restaurants/places to go to. I would love to stay here again and I’d recommend others to do the same!

Beautiful clean house in a great neighborhood. Great location, there is a lot to do and see within a short drive. Host was very welcoming and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this house.

Excellent host! Perfect solution for a medical conference on Kiawah. Closer than anticipated, right down the road from Freshfields and Bohicket Marina. VERY quiet and peaceful.

This place was amazing and perfect for our family!! It smelled amazing when we walked in the door and everything was super clean. We felt right at home. Rob was very responsive and helpful and easy to work with. The neighbors were very kind and welcoming of us!! Highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful stay at Sailor’s Rest. It’s a great location for families with young kids. We enjoyed the pool, fresh eggs, fish & walkable gardens. The beach was only apx a 10min drive, and the access card they give you made it very easy. 10/10 would recommend

We had a great time here for the second year in a row. The pool was a huge plus and the house was comfortable for our family of five. Would stay again!

An incredible place in an incredible location operated by an incredible hostess! The place was super clean and beautifully appointed. There were two separate living spaces to accommodate two couples. There master suite is so amazing with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water and super comfy furniture-we could have stayed forever! Loved it!!
