Family-friendly vacation rentals in Charleston

Pelican Watch is a beautiful place on Seabrook. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the backdoor with a great view from the back porch. You need a car to get to most restaurants but great places are 10-20 minutes away. Harris Teeter is well stocked nearby with great steaks and seafood as well as wine. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean house in a great neighborhood. Great location, there is a lot to do and see within a short drive. Host was very welcoming and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay on Seabrook Island. Tom’s instructions were very detailed and clear, and the space was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

We were in town for about 3 weeks and Robs place was perfect for us. The home itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe and had a very nice pool as well. Felt totally comfortable going for a walk each day. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, Folly Beach, Daniel Island, Beach Walker at Kiawah, and downtown Charleston during our stay. All were within 30 min - an hour away with Kiawah being the furthest. Our main goal during our stay was to explore Summerville as a community which we did! After full days it was so nice to have Robs place to come back to and feel so comfortable. We really enjoyed time on the back screened lanai.

The house was rented specifically for a golf weekend. It was very close proximity wise to both golf courses we played. Large pool was nice to have after a hot round of golf.

My family and I loved our long weekend in Mt Pleasant at Melissa's place! We frequent the area often and this has been our favorite airbnb to date. We 100% will be back! The place feels cozy and right at home. The pool is an added bonus. It was perfectly maintained and the lights at night were great! The location is perfect, quick drive to the beaches and restaurants. You do have to share the backyard/pool area with your neighbor but we had very nice/respectful neighbors in the next door unit. Book it, you won't be disappointed. We didn't want to leave!

We were in town celebrating my brother’s wedding, and Joseph’s home was the perfect place to unwind and spend time with family. The pool area was beautiful! He was extremely responsive and the home was very comfortable and well equipped.

I lived in Charleston for five years and staying here was the best “welcome home”. From the moment we booked, Brianna was helpful, communicative, and pleasant. Check-in was easy and the place was gorgeous and exactly as described. We even said that “this was the first time that an Airbnb felt like home” and we meant it. Ample entertainment (dvd, Roku tvs, speaker), stunning view, perfect location, and SO many beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, kids games, buckets etc. We hope to visit again and bring our whole family! Modern fixtures and appliances that were easy to use. If I ever need an Airbnb in Charleston again, I will definitely be staying here if it’s available. My only drawback was that it was really warm in the home when we arrived but it cooled down by the time we returned from dinner. Other than that, no complaints! I definitely recommend staying here.

Robert’s home was the perfect place to stay for our vacation and he was helpful with anything we needed. I’d recommend anyone visiting Charleston to stay at Robert’s place.

Karen’s place was the perfect space for two people. Walkable about 15-20min to King Street. The Airbnb was clean and easy to access. It is by the medical hospital campus so can be nosey at times but not bad. The Inn houses multiple Airbnb’s so you can occasionally hear other people but worked great for what we needed it for. Karen was very responsive and made check in and check out easy!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bungalow Under the Oaks. The space was clean and cozy, good for two people and a small dog. We enjoyed the fenced in yard and short drive to the beach and restaurants.

StayDuvet was a great place to stay. Love the neighborhood and how close it was to restaurants. Close to downtown and everything we wanted to do while we were there.

Great place for a weekend in Charleston. 15 minute Uber ride to downtown, walking distance to a few restaurants and coffee spots, and a short drive to the water. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in that area.

Andy’s place was great! Walkable to the beach, downtown, coffee shops, and restaurants. It was an especially perfect location for my 2 teens to wander around on their own. And the house itself was just what we needed. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and because of the open floor plan, I was able to interact with my family while doing so. I highly recommend Andy’s house!

Enjoyed our stay here for our 4 days in Charleston. It was close enough to everything and we loved the privacy of it!

Very well stocked kitchen including coffee !! . Lots of thoughtful extras like beach towels, cooler, bug spray and sunscreen. Lovely dining area where I entertained my son and dil with my grandson for a home cooked meal! Convenient to everything from the Market to a nearby Harris Teeter also a great location to attend various Spoleto events.

Apartment was very clean and great location between the beach and downtown Charleston.

Perfect place for our family getaway. Great location close to restaurants and not far from Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. Loved the decor! Kitchen was well stocked and beds comfortable. Would definitely consider booking again.

We loved our stay here! It was a perfect location, centrally located and a short walk to King St with all of the shopping and dining. The finishes are beautifully done and the layout was perfect for two couples spending a weekend in Charleston. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Charleston.

This house worked great for my family to attend a wedding. House was spotless, well-equipped and stocked with some coffee and a few snacks! Lots of natural light from skylights. Peaceful patio with wonderfully scented vine covering the pergola and a nice view of fountain. We saw turtles, a green heron and a small alligator (at a safe distance) from the fenced-in back yard. Location is easy to find with convenient to restaurants and shopping. Exceeded my expectations.

It was a great place. Everything was so close. The house had everything we needed. Hopefully we will be able to use it next year

My sister, our friend and I stayed at Jills air bnb for four days! Our stay was everything we wanted and more! First, Jills responsiveness and flexibility was 10/10! We had an early flight into Charleston and a late flight out. Jill was flexible and responsive when we inquired about an early/late check in/out. Second, the air bnb was adorable! We had our own private entrance and the bathroom was a perfect space to get ready in with your friends! There was plenty of space in the air bnb but we did not feel overwhelmed! Third, Jill herself was a kind and personable host! We also had the pleasure of meeting her son, who was just as kind! Jill and her family were very welcoming and provided us with recommendations for local activities. We would stay with Jill again in a heartbeat!

Paul and Anna were friendly and responsive hosts. The rental was within walking distance to a large variety of things to do. Charleston is a fun and beautiful place to visit. Loved relaxing on the porch watching the horse and buggies go by.

It was really clean and smelled nice. he also provided a lot of towels which was nice. everything worked how expected and the property is beautiful.
