But with all the modern amenities that an off-grid camping experience can offer, you don't have to live like a savage to experience what it was like to be a prospector in days gone by.

Just 30 minutes south of Kansas City in Harrisonville, MO! Come enjoy an updated three bedroom home with a fully stocked kitchen, two queen bedrooms and two twin bunks. There is one bathroom with tub and shower. During the fall and winter months, cozy up in the warm living room with a gas fireplace and a good book. An inviting back yard is perfect for grilling out, playing games and enjoying the quietude of a peaceful mid-century neighborhood. Full size washer/dryer use in unfinished basement.

The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit!

We offer cabins off of 69 highway in Pleasanton, KS, near 2 lakes! We offer nightly, weekly, and monthly rentals. Each cabin is approx 250 Sq ft. Includes TV, Satellite TV, Gigabit Internet, full bath, kitchenette, grill including propane and utensils, (upon request), and a Porch with chairs and table. Community fire pit and picnic tables available. We have both a coffee maker that uses a filter and grounds, and a Keurig for your K-cups. Bring your favorite coffee! Pet Friendly!

We are 10-15 minutes from the Scheels soccer complex. Overland Park has plenty of Kansas barbecue and shopping.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy your own private cottage with all your essentials; You also have access to the property's hot tub and 1 acre pond stocked with catfish, blue gill, and bass! The cottage has a 1 queen size bed and a mattress in the loft . Please note: we do live on this property and the cottage is next to our main house. We have friendly outdoor cats they do freely roam the property.
