We had a great stay at Smiley Filey. Great location, clean & tidy, and had everything we needed. Was also pleasantly surprised to find a smart tv (info said there wasn’t one) which was great as it meant our little one could watch their favourite programs. Messaged Oliver the host a few times with some questions before and once during (about where to find something in the apartment) and he replied quickly and helpfully. Would definitely be open to staying here again if we have another Filey holiday! Thanks for having us x

Great property and location for a nice quiet stay by the coast. Very close to lots of tourist locations. Very spacious property with a fantastic garden which is ideal if you have a dog.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We arrived late so only stayed in the property a few hours. The accommodation was good and nice to have a fresh loaf of bread!

A lovely cottage, perfect for visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs and walking the coast path. The cottage was very clean and spacious, we were very comfortable. Gill was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely few days there. It is worth using the train to visit Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. A brilliant service which made exploring and walking options easy.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

We recently stayed here and had a great experience. The property is in a great location with easy access, and it’s close to a convenient local car park (although it’s a bit small if you were travelling in peak time). The house itself is modern, clean, and well set up with good amenities. Communication with the host was also excellent. It’s a lovely clean place in a great spot, we had a perfect few days!

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

Rebecca’s flat is absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need for a short stay in Scarborough. Ideally located within h walking distance of the attractions, it felt like a home. Definitely recommend and would return if going to the area again. Parking is easy too.

This is an excellent base if you are visiting York. Its a really comfortable and well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay , Ray very welcoming and helpful then left you alone to enjoy your stay , everything you needed and safe enclosure for my dog , very good butchers in the village lovely walking and Cod and Lobster in Staithes highly recommend , all in all very enjoyable very quiet , private and peaceful would definitely revisit and recommend

This was a perfect compact little apartment. Everything was thought of. Beautifully designed and comfortably furnished. We were a short notice booking for just one night to break a long journey. All was smooth and easy. A joy!

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in Cloughton it was lovely. Just what we were looking for in an Air b n b . The accommodation was spacious enough for 2 adults and our wee dog . There was tea, coffee, sugar , salt , pepper, butter , jam and milk . All these items were very useful as it saves you bringing your own. Towels and linen were lush. Welcome pack was extensive and very useful. I particularly enjoyed our bottle of wine too . Very nice touch . Highly recommend John’s accommodation. .
