La Fenetre Holiday Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at Tim’s place! The location was perfect – just around the corner from local amenities and right in the heart of town. It was also only about 10 minutes to the forest and around 30 minutes to Whitby, which made day trips really easy. The hot tub was spotless and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of Prosecco – such a thoughtful touch. Tim was an incredibly responsive and understanding host throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

The Perfect Escape at Flambards Cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely stay at Flambards. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had everything you needed! Back garden is a little sun trap! And the reclining sun chairs were great. Lovely walks from your front door and a good choice of local shops, pubs and restaurants. The bakery does some beautiful cakes and buns. Rose and Crown very friendly, Seabirds and Matty’s Munchies great food! Pubs and restaurants get very busy so recommend you book in advance. Lighthouse not too far away along with North Landing and Little Thornwick Bay. Fancy further a field there is a great walk along the headland into Bridlington! You might even see the Seals at the Lighthouse. No. 14 Bus stop just across the road can also take you into Bridlington and Simon’s Taxis who are dog friendly were also great!

Saltburn l The Outlook- Sea views, Dog friendly.

FrankieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wow - we can’t rate the outlook highly enough! Communication was excellent throughout and check-in was really easy. The place itself is fantastic - a gorgeous, cosy space, spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view of the sea. The garden was ideal for letting our dog out before bedtime, which was really handy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing night in, and we loved spending the evening on the sofa enjoying the sea view. The shower was fantastic too - just what we needed after a 15km coastal walk! Saltburn is a lovely place to explore - we’d definitely recommend a wander along the beach, fish and chips near the pier, and walking part of the Cleveland Way if you’re up for a bit of a challenge. We also treated ourselves to a coffee and biscoff blondie at the hotel after check-out - genuinely one of the best puddings we’ve ever had! We can’t wait to visit again - thank you so much for a perfect stay!

The Hayloft at Bainton - 2 bedroom cottage.

AnneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Hayloft is a really cosy place to stay and Karen and Andy have furnished it to an excellent standard. The vintage but quality furniture in the bedrooms, the paintings of York on the stairs and the extremely well kitted out kitchen makes it feel very homely and a place where we immediately relaxed. There are so many places easily accessible from the Hayloft; highlights of our holiday were visits to RSPB Bempton, Fraisthorpe beach, Pocklington canal, Beverley, Malton and Scampston Walled gardens. Lastly if you are a garden lover then you will definitely enjoy looking at the beautiful vegetable garden and paddock ( with dog toys) that Andy and Karen lovingly attend.

Comfortable Seaside Cottage in Scarborough

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed, two couples for two nights in this property. Great communication throughout from Faye. Lovely property, in a great location for Scarborough and especially the Spa which we had gone for. Nice walk into Scarborough and plenty to do. Property has everything you need, good use of the space available. Cannot fault the property for us at all. Would not be ideal for people with limited mobility (steps, low settee, location) but this would be considered anyway. Parking available on street without issue. Great value for money. We loved it, thank you for having us.

We had a fantastic stay here for my boyfriends mums big birthday! The house was perfect for our needs, clean and as the photos, and the layout was great. We enjoyed meals at the table and breakfast outside at the garden table as we were so lucky with the weather, the sunshine was most welcome! The en-suite bathrooms were fabulous so everyone had their private space and brilliant being so close to the beach path and the pub. Thanks so much, we hope to be back in the future.
