The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Additional fee, Parabel in cash: Tourist tax- 3€ per night/person.

Our apartment (approx. 70 square meters) is located at the edge of the small village of Geschwend, in the Todtnau holiday region. Geschwend has about 410 inhabitants. The place is good for 2-4 people. Couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with older children. It includes a double bed on the gallery, as well as a sofa bed in the living area. It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

Our house "Liesel" is located 8 km south of the Großer Feldberg in the Black Forest. From here, there are no limits to outdoor activities. Hiking, swimming, biking or skiing, everything is possible right from the front door and without a car. Shopping is minutes by car. Pets on request.
