Look out at the pristine City Hall with the Statue of Liberty and a bronze sculpture marking the city where Honest Abe visited just before announcing his run for Presidency. The original bricks and hardwood in this unique 170-year-old home have stood the test of time. Take a an elevator (or stairs) to the 2nd floor. Located in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Within a few blocks are several coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, and bars. Located only 10 miles from the award-winning tourist town of Weston, which has many breweries, wineries, and hiking trails. You won't find this anywhere else! Original wide hardwood floors that were laid 165 years ago and the original brick walls that have stood the test of time. A view from nine windows that overlook our pristine city hall with the statue of liberty and statue of Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln announced his run for presidency right there in Leavenworth!) And to think, he most likely walked across the street and came in our building as it was a saloon at the time! You will enter our loft from the street by keypad and there is a small room leading to our new elevator (big steel door) to take you to the 2nd floor. Directions for the elevator are on the wall. Very easy, just always close the white accordian door to elevator in case your party calls it from another floor. Your party is the only people who have access to this elevator. Check in is between 4 and 7pm. Please drop us a text if it is not in that time frame. Check out is 11am. Again, please drop us a text if you need more time! Mac and Stacy are always just a text away and can be there within 10 minutes. #913-651-7798. Text us with any questions! Ride a custom elevator to the open yet cozy space above the host's candle and gift boutique. The flat is a great base to explore KC, Fort Leavenworth, the county seat, and quaint Weston, MO. Shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and bars are steps away. There is a large parking lot behind the building on 5th street. 65" tv, but we do not have cable. There is a dvd player, and you are welcome to hook your phone to the tv to watch your prime video, hulu, etc. That is what we do, and use the data from our phone or computer to display on the tv screen!

Such a well thought out home in a quiet neighborhood and convenient location. The beds and pillows are comfy. April even thought of extra touches like snacks in the kitchen and a comprehensive coffee and tea bar. If the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed the outdoor patio furniture too! There’s even a really fun basketball game down in the basement area. I travel here often on business and will keep this in my list of favorites!

I had a wonderful stay at Teresa’s antique apartment in St. Joseph, MO. The building is absolutely stunning, with beautiful antique furniture that adds so much charm and character. The apartment was spotless and felt so inviting, making it the perfect place! Teresa was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring everything was smooth from start to finish. My Grandma lives in a small community that does not have a hotel and her house is very small. I was so grateful to have a place in the same area so I didn't have to travel 20+ minutes each way to stay. I was already familiar with the area, but the host offered some recommendations and responded quickly when I had questions. We weren't there very long, but would absolutely stay there again!

Rebecca’s cottage is indeed a tiny house, but it had everything I needed for a three day quilting retreat including space to set up my sewing machine. Although there is sleeping accommodation in the loft, I didn’t use that because of the ladder used to access. The daybed on the main floor was very comfortable for sleeping. The cottage is set back from a county highway. During the day there was a fair amount of traffic, but very quiet at night. Kingston is a very small community with few amenities that I could see other than a coffee shop. Nearby Polo had a grocery and at least one restaurant. A bit farther, but easily reached, Hamilton has several restaurants plus many quilt shops. I highly recommend the Quilter’s Retreat and would stay there again.

Unique venue with a rich history behind it. Aimee was very easy to work it. This is commonly used for weddings but worked well for our quick visit with our family in near by Gower. If you are looking for a private unique stay, this is it! It had a big patio on the side of the barn that we sat at and enjoyed a glass of wine. This stay offers two rooms with your stay and would accommodate four very well.
