Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Étaules

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very welcoming host. The house is in a very quiet area. It is also very pleasant and convenient for families with children and infants. Everything is provided (umbrella bed, high chair). We can see the seagull train passing by a step away from the house. We had a great time.

Very nice stay at this family home. Access to the beach is ideal with children, no need to take the car. Everything is designed to host a family. Pleasant sea views in the living rooms. Very easy communication, was able to meet our needs. We'll be happy to go back!

Very nice house, clean, functional and well-equipped for 8 people. The children's space on the mezzanine is very nice. The outside is very quiet and soothing. Thanks to Jeremy for hosting us, his advice and availability if needed.

Very nice little house for a family with two children. Very quiet, too bad the pool is only open from June 15th. Very well equipped in the kitchen. Camille is a great host, she is very responsive if you have a problem and especially there is everything you need in the house to solve problems. I would recommend this house.

We had a pleasant stay in a very nice and very quiet apartment. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Sandra, however a bottle of wine and a package of cakes were waiting for us on the table when we arrived. Saint Palais sur mer is a lovely seaside town and the wild coast is beautiful.

We had a great time in this pleasant, clean and very well maintained apartment. When we arrived, the accommodation was perfectly clean, well ventilated and it smelled very good. The place is easy to access, secure and easy to find. The location is ideal, with many activities nearby: beach, zoo, restaurants, etc. The host was very responsive and available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Only small downside: the environment can sometimes be a little noisy depending on the time of day. I highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable and good location!

Super Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and lots of facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thank you for the bike:)). The large parking lot of Place Carnot is 100 m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

Absolutely perfect stay at Michel and Régine's, the location of the accommodation is ideal next to the market, shops and beautiful walks along the channel and oyster farms: everything can be done on foot. La Tremblade has kept the authentic character of the Charentes, and you can quickly access the magnificent beaches of the Côte Sauvage or Oléron Island. The accommodation is very nice, quiet, with private parking and just the right amount of garden. It is particularly well-equipped, nothing is missing to make you feel at home. Michel and Régine are very attentive hosts, nothing was missing on arrival for our breakfasts, and even more! Check-in and checkout procedures are extremely simple and leave ideal flexibility. I highly recommend this rental and keep it in my address book!

We had a pleasant stay at Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their beautiful terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet.
