Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

We completed the lake placid 9er hike on our stay. Great location with all hikes less than 20 min away (some less than 10). Spectacular view and incredible kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were great amenities for recovery from long days hiking. Place is as advertised and you cannot beat the view of the mountains. Highly suggest going to the hungry trout restaurant. Only a few minutes away, much closer than downtown lake placid and the food/service was great. Highly recommend this rental and hope to be back next year to begin the 46er.

The thought Jodi has put into her place is remarkable! Not only is it tastefully decorated but it is practically fully stocked with just about anything you could need! It is local to almost all attractions my family and I were interested in. It comfortably housed my family of 3 plus our puppy. My puppy was a big fan of the dog bed and dog toys that Jodi had there already. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Lake Placid area! I am hoping to make a return trip!

This was probably the nicest Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Kitchen items were well stocked and in like new condition and very good quality. Would definitely come back here to stay. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms are new and very clean, hot tub was clean and worked great! If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, that’s got all the amenities of home and is a reasonable (15-20 minutes) driving distance to village of Lake Placid… this is the place!

Ronnie and Jim were excellent hosts — friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond. Their place was perfect for our stay. Whether you’re in town for a bass fishing tournament or just looking for a peaceful getaway in the Adirondacks, this spot has everything you need. Comfortable, clean, and in a great location. I’d highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Owner was very responsive to our last minute booking, and late arrival. Made sure heat was up, driveway cleared of snow/ sidewalk safe and kitchen was stocked with snacks! They are working on clearing the site/grounds. Can’t wait to come back next year and see their progress. There is a very quaint Main Street with excellent breakfast options and walkable shops.

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Ray’s place was just perfect for our stay! The view is absolutely stunning. The space worked well with two completely separate sleeping spaces and bathrooms. And it was dog friendly. We hope to stay there again.

We so enjoyed staying in this spacious apartment! The view was spectacular! Andrew and Devlin were friendly, responsive hosts. It was awesome relaxing in a quiet, comfortable living room complete with a big screen TV. They thought of everything guests would need from a fully furnished kitchen to heated bathroom floors, bathroom toiletries, and ample towels and storage. We were with my 91-year-old mother and she absolutely loved the convenience of the floor plan. Thank you so much for hosting us - we would love to come back and we definitely recommend it to others heading to Lake Placid region.

My wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Shyra's place. The home was clean, warm, and welcoming—our dog felt right at home. Waking up to stunning views of the high peaks from the backyard was truly unforgettable. Short drives to Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga. A great home base of you're looking to hike any of the Adirondack high peaks. Shyra was communicative and very responsive throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We absolutely loved staying at Gabrielle’s place! A perfect location to visit both Ausable Sables and entire Wilmington/Lake Placid areas! We utilized Gabrielle’s list of suggested places and restaurants every day and were never disappointed. This was our first visit to the Adirondacks and ~~ thanks to our host, we were quite impressed! We hope to return in the fall P.S. The scavenger hunt and gift were the cherry on top!! Bravo 👏

Dorothy’s place was a perfect spot to explore the High Peaks region. The cabin was cozy and had lots of kitchen ware to make cooking easy. Dorothy was very responsive and had local recommendations. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Annette and Michael are the absolute best! They’ve clearly put considerable thought into creating spaces that are comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. They care about your experience and know how to make you feel right at home. Best of all, they’re wonderful conversationalists who genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again.

Highly recommend Jay’s Mountain Retreat. Many options are available in the area, but for us, we will repeat again and again. It was the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. An amazing and responsive host that provides a space with quality and comfortable touches.

Brooke’s listing is better than images and description and was exactly the romantic weekend getaway we needed. peaceful and private location, incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was perfect size for what we needed and fire-pit was a major plus. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again here.

Wasn't the best weather but enjoyed our peaceful relaxing stay. Nothing better than unplugging and chilling by a fire with no electronics. Brenda is great and checks in on us to see if everything is good.

Whitney's loft provided a perfect getaway for my 30th birthday. It was super clean and inviting. She was resposive throughout the whole experience. The environment was perfect if you want a peaceful, yet adventurous stay. We made use of the provided canoe and paddled through the Oseetah Lake with our dogs, which is just a short walk on the property. This is our first time in the ADK area and we were not disappointed. We even took a day trip to Montreal.
