Encinitas vacation rentals

This was a great place for the weekend and a few days at the office! Walkable to all my favorite places in Leucadia and Downtown Encinitas. Convenient off street parking, well equipped kitchen and a very accommodating host all made for a very good stay! I’ll be back!

What a wonderful Airbnb experience! The bungalow was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially loved taking advantage of the outdoor amenities, including the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. The outdoor space was perfectly tranquil. Our daughter and dog loved playing in the yard. The proximity to downtown Carlsbad was a huge plus. We were very happy with our stay!

Rosa's place is so charming and so spotless! We had a lovely stay and found everything we needed at our fingertips. The location was great for us, but just know, as in all of southern California, you will need a car. The location provided easy access to multiple towns and beaches--highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Carol and Tony provided everything we needed for a lovely family vacation- they accommodated our needs while traveling with a toddler and their guest house felt like a home away from home! Their backyard is heavenly and was the perfect place to relax in between all our outings. They are the nicest couple and I would recommend their lovely cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all SoCal has to offer.

Great place, easy walk to beach or downtown. Ryan’s place is very well stocked with everything you could need. We had a great time!! There was even a Christmas tree up (we were there over Christmas) which made it feel very homey. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Michael's place was great for our Oceanside getaway. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, the space was clean, the area was walkable, and the space was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this home! Very comfortable for two couples and an infant. Walkable to the beach, we watched a beautiful sunset minutes from the home. Nice breakfast options nearby and lots of children’s toys/activities. Host was responsive and helpful. Would rent again.

This was the perfect place to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It was quiet and had a great view of the ocean. The deck was a peaceful place to eat meals, hang out and read. Super close to the beach and great restaurants. We will be back.

Great spaces for family to hang out together and separately too. Very well appointed. Loved the deck and the hot tub! Thanks Helen. We will book again sometime.

This place was too good to put into words! Anything you could have ever needed was right there at the house. Wonderful location and very responsive host! I had a lot of questions and he always answered quickly. I have a crawling baby- and her knees were squeaky clean after crawling around this house! If you have a crawling baby you will understand how big that is. SO clean and SO comfortable we can’t wait to go back! Some reviews complained about the noise from the road and we did not notice it at all. If you are staying at a place that is family friendly because you have kids then your kids will definitely be louder than the road noise. Do not miss out on this place!

Mimi’s beach house is exactly what our family wanted and needed for the week. The walkability to Carlsbad Village, how easy it was to go for a run along the beach every morning, its proximity to the beach - it was perfectly located. And then the house itself was wonderful - clean, had a fire pit for smores / an evening outside, beds were super comfortable. Will def be back again!

We arrived in Encinitas at an Airbnb that simply wasn’t acceptable! We found Casey’s place and connected with him to book his home last minute. It was perfect for our family gathering, with a beautiful backyard, large open gathering space, and easy access to the beach and downtown Encinitas. Highly recommend. Casey was kind and very responsive.

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.

the property is nice. the hosts communicate well. just a heads up, it is a 9-15minute walk to the beach access depending what access is open and what you're taking with you. overall, we liked our stay!

Very nice and cute house to stay in, I would aboslutely recommend! The kitchen is nicely stocked, the place was clean, and the couch and bed were comfy. You can occasionally hear the upstairs neighbors walking when in the bedroom, but you cannot hear them from the rest of the house. The house felt very spacious as well.

Our family had a great experience staying at David’s place. It was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities for us to feel at home. The kitchen had lots of supplies to make meals. He had beach towels, chairs, and toys for us! And as a mom, I appreciate being able to use the washer and dryer, haha. We especially loved the outdoor space! David’s garden is beautiful and we we got to smell the lovely citrus blossoms while relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. We thought the location was really convenient for visiting Encinitas, Legoland and the zoo. David was really responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. He also gave us recommendations for places to go in the area.

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

Location was the best, only few houses down to the steps to the beach. Endless ocean view from kitchen all the way out to the patio. And yes Dolphin sittings every day. My 3 year old loved it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. One thing to note (must be able to walk up stairs to get to unit)

Loved our staycation at this adorable beach house! Location could not have been better - just a couple blocks from beach access and also super close to restaurants, shops and bars. The house is very cute and was just the right size for our little family of four. The kitchen is well stocked including a French press and keurig. It was also nice having both a front and back yard. Our dog and toddler both thoroughly enjoyed this protected outdoor space. Hosts are also fantastic and were incredibly responsive and generous, including when we embarrassingly locked ourselves out of the house. Highly recommend and would book again!

This was such an amazing find! It's a cozy, beautiful home, with an amazing background. I still can't get over how amazing all the surrounding plants were. It's gorgeous! Nancy also was incredibly accomodating and allowed for a slightly flexible check in which I greatly appreciated. Definitely well worth what we paid for. Would book again!

We loved our stay! Stephanie’s communication made the check in and check out process easy, the home was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent — within walking distance of various coffee shops and restaurants that were fun to try. We also loved that the house came equipped with beach toys and chairs as well books and toys for our daughter. We hope to return soon!

Staying at Stephanie’s was great for us. The children’s books were a great touch as were the puzzles. The garage was full of toys for the beach, boogie boards and a wagon and sand toys. Everything we needed—plenty of towels. The master bedroom is a dream, quite large and accommodating. All in all we had a great time in prime location for us. Worth the price, don’t hesitate if available!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

My girlfriends and I had an amazing weekend at Logan’s house! It was the ideal getaway for our annual Mother’s Day trip. The home was just as described and only steps from the beach. We adored the decor, especially the pink accents, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!
