In a word - dreamy. A beautifully constructed and decorated log cabin on a spacious private property in the mountains with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay - a well maintained hot tub, fire pit, covered wraparound porch with lots of seating - not to mention the gorgeous interior with fully stocked kitchen, games, books, DVDs, extra blankets and cushions…Kaymin was an incredibly thoughtful host- very responsive, provided lots of suggestions for local activities and had a bottle of wine and charcuterie waiting for us when we arrived. Need I say more?

Wonderful stay at the Smiley Wolf Cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and the towels & linens were great. The kitchen was well equipped. Ben was a friendly and responsive host. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this lovely place.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly one of the highlights of the trip. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive when we needed assistance, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cabin itself is cozy, peaceful, and perfectly situated for a relaxing getaway in nature. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene retreat.

Stunning. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. The garden is large with beautiful mountain views. Julie was a great host with recommendations of local walks which was a great way to start our mornings. Winding down in the hot tub with fabulous views each evening was perfect. We hope to return!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Karen’s Airbnb. The home is cozy, beautifully maintained, and incredibly family-friendly—it had everything we needed and more. The backyard was a real highlight, with a stunning view of the mountains. As a meditator, I found it to be an especially peaceful space—my morning meditations there were incredibly deep and grounding. Karen was such a warm and sweet host. Her kindness, clear communication, and all the thoughtful touches around the home made us feel genuinely welcome. She was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. This was the perfect mountain retreat for our little family, and we’d absolutely love to return someday. Highly recommend!

This cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures show! The mountains surrounding it are beautiful. It had more amenities and fun things to do than we were expecting. The house is in extremely good shape and very cozy. The deck is the only sketch part of the house. It probably should have been replaced 5 years ago. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Over all it was an awesome place to spend the long weekend!

Absolute gem ! It was more then expected. I really wish we booked for a longer stay. I can't say enough about the stunning view. Great to take in reading by the window or lounging on the patio or relaxing in the hot tub. I even had a little truck trouble on departure and they were quick to help out with was a delightful experience and would recommend a stay 100 %.

Porcupine chalet was lovely and private, great snowshoe trails right close by, dog loved it. Easy pre cut wood stock for kiddling if you need more, ran into our host on the skii hill and they were warm and welcoming ! 10/10 would go back.

We had plans to travel to Lake Louise however deferred LL in lieu of spending the full day, as we (all 4) fell in love instantly on arrival to the cabin. The tranquility, with the horses in the adjacent paddock and the snow capped mountains in the distance…it was perfect. Everything in the house is well suited to a long stay, with well sized washer and dryer, full size fridge. The beds were super comfortable and the back deck got plenty of use. Restaurants and supermarkets a short 15minute drive away.

Nice private cabin, close to Golden. Would definitely return.

Amazing place to stay if visiting Banff or the other parks in the area! Rick and Watson are great hosts and the space was very spacious and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun unique place to stay.

Great place. Surrounded by trees in a big property. If you are looking for a private location this is the spot. Spacious house with a complete kitchen. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with extra pillows and bed linens. Both upstairs rooms have skylights, so they get bright when the sun rises (make sure to pack an sleep mask). Our dog loved the deck and the surroundings. The communication with the host was great, fast replies and accurate instructions. Golden is an amazing place with lots to do. The house was what we were looking for: private and easy access to attractions in the area.

The place was awesome, everything was neat and tidy. Insrtuctions were clear from the owner. I will recomend this place.

Stayed 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful property and surroundings. Mosquitos were a thing in the evening, but calm, sunny morning breakfasts on the porch were glorious. I super appreciated Kaley’s suggestion for a local cold creek dip! Would not hesitate to book this sweet cabin again next time I’m through Golden.

absolutely loved this spot, serene and peaceful and made for an amazing weekend getaway. I thought it was a bit pricey at first for a small cabin but with free wood and free snowshoes to use it felt like it balanced out. kitchen has about everything you'd need for a short stay but could use small things like some spices and oils. There are lots of ways to sustain comfortable temperature, we didn't know there was a heating system until we got there, thinking it was only the wood stove, but you're covered if you don't want to maintain a fire or you can do what we did and turn the heat off and burn wood instead for a truly cozy cabin feel. Very likely we will be back to this spot, probably for a bit longer next time. :)

Possibly the most beautiful place we have ever been and stayed. Mists rising from the mountains and rainbows every morning in the golden light. Hiking trails right out of the cabin door to mountain springs and pools. We would live in this area!

The “Sanctuary” sign on the wall next to the door says it all. We had an amazing stay at Liza’s cabin. The location is amazing, so peaceful. We loved waking up with a view on surrounding trees and chirping birds (don’t forget to bring your sleep mask if you need darkness to sleep). The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay, Liza even thought of bear spray and mosquitoes repellent (the only downside of the location, lots of mosquitoes) and lovely decorations. The communication with Liza was always smooth and friendly. We would love to come again one day! Thank you for having us Liza.

Very lovely cabin. Beautiful surroundings. private. Quiet. comfortable. cabin was well stocked. hottub was clean, big. Jackie was very good to us. She kept us informed, communicated well with email and texts. we were very happy to meet her in person and thank her before leaving so we could tell her how happy we were with our stay. Great location. close to suspension bridges and Adventure park, which we really enjoyed. we would definitely go back in a heartbeat, and highly recommend her cabin to everyone. very good experience from start to finish. thanks again Jackie 👍😍🎉

We had such a lovely stay just outside Golden, BC. The cabin is tucked into the mountainside, offering total seclusion and incredible views. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit—it was the perfect way to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. Paola was a fantastic host very responsive and full of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape!

Linda and Al were such kind and generous hosts and we loved our time at the cabin. It was so serene being surrounded by ginormous trees and mountains painting the landscapes right as you step out of the front door of the cabin. To make it even better, there was a pig, majestic horses and some incredibly friendly dogs that greeted us and protected us. Everyday, it was a nice surprise to have the dogs run up to us and try to play or get our attention. The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable - it is perfect for two people and it heats up really well and gets toasty in the winter. The wood cabin, all the decorations, and even the dishes all perfectly matched the setting we were in and it was a lovely stay. We would love to be back!
