Vacation rentals with a fireplace in El Dorado County

I celebrated my 35th birthday with a few close friends and we all fell in love with the home! Very cozy, clean and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away! Ira was a wonderful host and was easy to contact! Would definitely come back to this location!

Had a wonderful time. Dark skies for the stargazers. Saw some house finches, quails, bees, robins, goldfinches, vultures, ravens, and dragonflies.

Fantastic home/cabin in Pollock Pines near Sly Park. Nicole first and foremost was a fantastic host, very proactive, which is wonderful. If I had a question she was always super quick to respond, which makes it easy and no waiting around which I greatly appreciate. The home was immaculate, cozy and had all of the amenities. We loved how it was laid out with a queen bedroom, king bedroom, and another queen bunk with Trundle so quite spacious for three bedroom. Each bedroom had a very large walk-in closet also lovely along with the spa tub in the master along with the shower. The balcony is lovely as well with a hanging lounge and nice eating area as well as barbecue. beds, very comfy and cozy and all linens provided. About a mile from Jenkins Lake, great for paddle boarding hiking. We hiked the waterfall trail, which was gorgeous lake itself was a beautiful greenish blue and we definitely planning a trip back. Would recommend this house to families, girls trip! Hour from Sacto!

The place is super clean and quiet. It seems to be recently remodeled. Appliances are new and easy to use. Convenient for driving to the South Lake Tahoe. The bunker bed provides good flexibility for different combination of travelers. I would definitely recommend and love to stay here again if we visit South Lake Tahoe area in the future.

This was an amazing place for our girls weekend trip! Lots of space and great outdoor patio space with a relaxing view. Six minute walk to downtown and felt very safe taking the little bridge over the freeway. Centrally located to a ton of wineries. Gave a homey vibe we could all relax in with a great cooking space and a kitchen island. Hope we get to return!

That area of Colfax is just such a nice part of the Sierra Foothills. This house is very nice, quiet, everything works, and is in a peaceful wooded area, just enough remote to be private but yet not too far to drive from shops, restaurants and access to Fwy 80.

This place was wonderful! Set up with great quality furniture and things were well stocked (unlike some other AirBnb's I've stayed at). 2 of us are slightly challenged mobility-wise, and I didn't realize the driveway was so steep because that was not clear in the pictures. Everything else was better than the pictures! It was also very quiet. The host was AMAZING! So responsive! They provided a bunch of great information and we found a lovely restaurant for brunch. This host needs to write a book on how to be an AirBnb host - absolutely the best! If I'm in the area again, I would absolutely love to stay here again!

Wendy was an outstanding host. This was my first Airbnb experience. Wendy’s responsiveness and proactive reach outs, were so helpful and a definite highlight of our stay. Check-in was effortlessly. The layout of the home was perfect for our family to gather, connect, relax, and simply enjoy our peaceful surroundings. The beds are super comfortable! Everyone woke up refreshed. We had a lovely deer great us in the backyard area before we took our stroll to the lake. Thank you again Wendy for your hospitality! As stated, your grace was one of the best parts of our stay. Thank you for the use of your lovely home.

The place was great and Ally was a very active host. The only downside would be the stairs, parking situation, and a group across the way was very loud. Lastly, lock your vehicle at all times because a bear did try to enter my vehicle or wild animal. Overall, the place was great. The host was phenomenal and provided a guide for everything. Easy instructions and only 15 to 20 min to get to main stateline side of Lake Tahoe.

We loved staying at this air bnb, there were a couple things missing or broken that we needed, laundry detergent, etc. all in all though great neighborhood and place to book for a couple of nights. For anyone else booking for the summer time, there was no AC although the fans work great and open windows at night too. It was perfect for smaller company, for us it was just 2 people and the area was absolutely lovely, we would definitely recommend!

It’s at a good distance from the various hikes and beaches we wanted to explore. All the breakfast and dinner spots we tried were from the list of recommendations given by the Airbnb hosts, and every place turned out to be great! In case anyone’s wondering, the property is surrounded by other units, so it’s not secluded.

It was dark when we arrived but the next morning the view was literally breathtaking. It was the perfect place for the wife and I. If we ever go back to Tahoe I won’t hesitate to book Charles’ place again.

Would highly recommend this place to people that I know

Nice place would highly recommend staying here. It’s perfect for 4 people. The water pressure was amazing and we got hot water in the shower, place was neat and tidy! Note: if you’re a light sleeper, you can hear people walking on the floor above so you might get disturbed. If it doesn’t bother you and you can sleep through that mild noise, this is a great place to stay in Tahoe!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Eric's place. We felt right at home the minute we stepped through the door. The layout of the apartment made the bedrooms very private and quiet with a comfortable living room, kitchen, and dining room area. The huge deck provided a lot of outdoor space. Jennifer and Eric live on the property so we saw them periodically. They were friendly and respectful our space and time. The house is located right off of I-80, so it was quick and easy to get to Auburn and other destinations. We had a few questions during our 10 day stay and Jennifer was exceptionally quick in responding. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place in Lake Tahoe! The space was quaint, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was ideal—close to all the activities we had planned, which made getting around super convenient. Michael and Tay were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions that made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Lake Tahoe—we’d definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous time and the back yard / pool area was a perfect setting for my large bachelorette. It seemed the host was anxious about having a group our size (23 women) yet did not list anywhere a maximum number of guests on the listing. It seemed we earned their trust through the stay though. Initially it felt awkward to have to text the host for things like turning on the hot tub or outdoor lights or pool slide, but they were pretty fast in response time and it ended up feeling pretty easy. Wish the kitchen would have had more kitchen towels, seems maybe not set up for full on dinner party use - but they did bring trash bags and replace the outside grill upon our request, which was impressive. Overall a positive experience! The grotto was lots of fun - we never left the property all weekend.

Great place right near Nevada beach for a last minute getaway. Was convenient to get to Safeway across the road.

Looks exactly as pictured and Steve was always nearby if we needed help figuring anything out with the house. It is a very large home with a beautiful view. Used the hot tub and pellet stove almost every night. It was the perfect escape for the holidays with our family. Enough space that family could rest while sharing the home with an infant.

Our group had an incredible trip! The house was exactly like the photos (possibly even better) and slept 10 adults comfortably. The hosts were incredibly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. It was a peaceful location up the mountain only 5 minutes from the ski lift and less than 10 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the good times.

Amazing property! Will book again

We traveled with my almost 3 year old and 2 month old. Cynthia’s home was as listed. Looked just like the photos. We loved the fenced in backyard and my son had fun playing out there. There was a pack and play for my infant. Cozy beds, clean, and comfortable. Close to everything in South Tahoe and Emerald Bay. Was perfect for what we needed! Would stay again.

We loved our stay here! The house is super comfortable--even nice than the photos. The real standout is the pool. It's beautiful and incredibly relaxing. We really enjoyed our weekend here--the house is well-stocked and welcoming, the grill works great, and the pool is lovely. Even though it was hot while we were there, the bedroom ACs & fans cooled the house down at night. The location is great--close to tons of nearby short hikes and river access points. Some friends even drove to the Yuba for the day (about 45 mins), but you can get to some stunning parts of the American River in about 15 minutes. Nearby markets as well! Anna Maria is a wonderful host as well. She communicated lots of useful information with me leading up to our stay and was available throughout, even fixing a hot-water issue immediately while we were there. Such a lovely and kind host :). Her home is adjacent to the property but it still felt like we had a private stay. Highly recommend staying here!

The entire R&R team was so helpful and available. They made our stay a breeze! Loved the home and the location. We would definitely re-book!
