We a have stayed at several Airbnb’s and this is definitely one of our favorites…. So much so, we’ve stayed here twice. It’s beautiful and peaceful, yet close to everything you need. We had a quick stay for our nephew’s wedding and almost had to cancel. Phoebe was so kind and flexible. That’s the thing that makes the stay even better…. the people. Phoebe and her husband are kind, helpful, and think of everything! About the place itself, it’s beautifully decorated, and the bed is so comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

Cindy's place was exactly as described. We enjoyed checking out Placerville and surrounding areas then coming back to Cindy's to relax and unwind. A perfect getaway week!

Suzanne’s cottage is super charming and comfortable! The grounds are gorgeous, the bed is comfy, and there were so many thoughtful touches. She knew it was our anniversary and left a bottle of champagne for us in the fridge, we had our kids with us, so she left smores makings. It’s definitely a small space, but we were there for just one night, and it was fine for our family of 4 with the kids sharing the futon. The new a/c unit kept us cool inside. We had fun watching frogs on the lily pad pond and feeding the chickens. This was a great spot for an overnight getaway, and we will definitely be back!

Me and my Fiance had such a lovely time! great location, not far from south lake tahoe hot spots. airbnb was very homey and spacious. the host lydia was very kind, generous and communicative. will be staying here again in the future!!

This was the perfect location! It was off the busy main roads but still so close to all the fun South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The house was perfect, comfortable, and felt like home. But you step outside and there was the feel of the great outdoors with a little stream running through the property and being up on the mountain side. 10/10 will recommend this property to any of my friends or family, and will definitely be booking again on my next trip back.

Tawnis house was great, we were greated at the door, the house was perfect for what we needed, and walking distance from some of the best spots in south lake!!!

Cindy's place is a quaint, well-decorated, comfortable, reasonably priced, secluded, private little garden enclave in a quiet neighborhood perched on the hill right above old-town Placerville. I liked that it was self-check-in (so I could arrive late at night), street parking was easy, the bed was very comfortable, and the room had its own bathroom and nice amenities. I did notice when I booked it that it does not have a microwave oven, so if that is important to you, make sure to do like I did and bring your own, but be careful not to put anything hot on the delicately stained wooden counters as it will leave a mark. Also, be careful with the hand-held shower in the jacuzzi bathtub. There is a giant, beautiful but unprotected hand-painted scenic painting inches above the tub. It's pretty, but, honestly, not very practical shower-wise. I plan on staying again next summer if it is still available. It's SO much more convenient than the Cary Hotel where I stayed in years past.

Erica was such a wonderful host! We felt as if a friend was taking care of us. She was super responsive and checked in on us during our stay, accommodated us with supplies for activities, breakfast & we purchased an add on pizza basket which was so awesome and tasty!!! Can’t say enough good things. This place is like a slice of heaven and all the detailed touches that Erica made was everything, from the record player, to music choices, games and books. We felt like we were in our own little romance film! :) lol. Erica is great. The place is beautiful. Definitely coming back!

This cottage was beautiful. It was located out in the country and appeared to be new and well cared for. The fridge had water and other beverages and Jennifer was welcoming and responsive. We were there for our son’s wedding and we were able to come and go without worries. Although located in the country we were close to the wedding venues, restaurants, grocery stores and we even stopped to get a pair of shoes a short drive away. We would recommend this place and are grateful for such a welcoming and kind hostess. Highly recommended.

The space was great—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Nicole was a wonderful host: very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated the smooth experience.

Peaceful, beautiful setting with a tranquil pond, fruit trees, lavender, and vineyard surrounded by rolling hills. Our hosts were friendly and communicative. The Airbnb was perfection! Fully stocked full size kitchen with beautiful cabinetry and countertops. Same for both bathrooms. We only had the two of us but this spot would be ideal for a family or two couples. The upstairs is very private and spacious and has a lounge/game area. We will definitely stay here again!

What a dreamy spot! We had an absolutely amazing stay and enjoyed every aspect of this Airbnb! Everything was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Perfect for 2 people. We especially loved the friendly cows on sight and really enjoyed the wrap around porch for relaxing. Location is amazing and close to town via a short drive. Friendly and hospitable hosts! Would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

This is an awesome place! i travel with my mom (she's 82) gk visit family as much as we can, so we look for great airbnbs so we can cook for ourselves and enjoy low-key hang-time. This absolutely fit the bill. It's adorable with a little bridge to the wraparound deck. The kitchen has all things needful, and like I said, I cook all our meals (restaurants aren't as healthy). And a great coffee maker - super important. It's just got all the right stuff, in exact proportion to the space. Just perfect! It's only a couple minutes from hwy 80, but it's so quiet up in the trees. Loved our stay!!! 😊

Stunning property. Great for a weekend getaway with very hospitable guests. Will be planning on staying here again next time im back in town. I’d recommend taking advantage of a wine tasting when the tasting room is a short walk from the place!

This was a wonderful landing spot. I was in town for a 100 mile race. It was a great place to rest and relax after the race. The bed was comfortable and I fell right asleep. Shower was excellent after 32 hours on the trail loved the cushion. I would stay again. Thank you.

This was a perfect spot to stay! The setting was really wonderful. There is outdoor furniture set up under a beautiful shade tree which made a great spot to read and have dinner. Inside there is everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. Very clean as well. The bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful space that’s very private. Beautiful surroundings and not far from plenty of restaurants and things to do. Sarah was an excellent host and I hope to stay here again sometime soon.

My friends and I had a great stay at Tudor’s place. The location was ideal for exploring Apple Hill, Placerville and local hiking trails. The space was very clean and cozy. We also noted that we felt very safe and secure.

My wife and I so enjoyed our stay at the Crows Nest. We did an extended stay in order to be present for the birth of our first grandchild! Both Pam and Gale were so supportive and the accommodations were splendid. The Crows Nest theme was evident throughout the house. It seemed we discovered something new each day. And the view….a sunrise over the Sierra with a cup of coffee on the front porch is the stuff of dreams. I sure miss my greetings from Oliver! Sweet dog that he is! Randy and Kay

We decided to escape the chaos of Sacramento during NYE, as the fireworks by the river have gotten out of hand. Chris' place was the perfect peaceful retreat. Upon arrival, Chris greeted us, gave us a tour, and mentioned he was available if we had any questions or needed anything. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy from our brief interaction. The guesthouse was spacious and just right for both us and our dog. The property itself was beautiful, with plenty of room for our dog to run and explore. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—peaceful surroundings, great hosts, and the ideal spot to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.

It was centrally located to drive the Sacramento-Folsom-El Dorado Hills-Placerville corridor daily/easily. I appreciated that communication with my host Sarah to address small issues, was prompt, courteous and hospitable. It is a great option when you want a full kitchen for 2+ working days.
