The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Irma was a friendly interested host, easy to get in touch with. Wonderful place, it was just a little too cold to sit outside but next to the pipo wagon there is a greenhouse where it is nice to sit and wonderful in terms of temperature. Cozy decor, everything is fine and definitely recommended!

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

They also came out to greet us when we arrived.The owner is very friendly.On the second night, the outdoor bath was also heated for us.The water temperature was quite high, and I enjoyed it so much that I was sweating.Thank you!

Highly recommend this sweet little farm in a peaceful village. We loved the sheep and lambs and even got to watch a little one be born! Instructions on yurt temperature management, wood stove and wood fired hot tub were clear and easy. We borrowed bikes and rode through the tulip fields to the beach. Such a nice family and surroundings after the bustle of Amsterdam!

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

This place is so adorable! It has an amazing terrace, and right in the center of the city with so much to do. The place was so comfortable and had all the amenities we would have needed. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to explore Amsterdam!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at the Farm with Patries and Mike! We had the most amazing time staying at Patries and Mike’s farm. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Patries and Mike are truly exceptional hosts – warm, generous, and full of heart. You can feel how much love and care they put into their place and into every guest they welcome. The farm itself is a little slice of paradise. Surrounded by nature, animals, and peace, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, slow down, and reconnect with what really matters. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds – and especially the proud rooster announcing each new day with great enthusiasm! There’s a real sense of authenticity and warmth here that’s hard to put into words – you simply have to experience it. Thank you, Patries and Mike, for opening your hearts and your home to us. We left with full hearts, new inspiration, and the feeling that we had just spent time with old friends. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Very good communication with Martijn, somewhat older house, but well maintained, clean and well equipped. Plenty of space in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Second bedroom a little small. Large outdoor area with terrace and lawn. Lots of greenery around, so you're undisturbed. When we were there, it was very quiet in the park. We liked it very much, we will be happy to come back.

We were very warmly welcomed by Maya and there was even a nice bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine and a treat for our dog. This was a great surprise. We liked the little cottage and the garden very much, everything was as described. We had a nice time there and will definitely be happy to come back.

The house is bright and located in a beautiful garden. The location is ideal for exploring the landscape of the Schoorlsen dunes by bike or on foot. Groet offers a few great restaurants that are not so crowded with tourists. Ideal for individualists who love some peace and relaxation. If we come back to the area, we would love to stop here again.

Lotte's house is simply perfect. Very close to Amsterdam and the airport, but still in a calm, quiet environment. The breakfast was always varied and very tasty. Our little boys loved the chickens. :) Lotte and her husband were incredibly sweet and helpful. We felt great, we would come back anytime! If I could, I would give 10 stars! :) Thank you for everything Lotte!

A second fantastic stay in this accommodation in the heart of Volendam, the environment is peaceful and it feels like home. The house is 2 steps from the port and public transport and there is everything you need to stay for several days

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's place. We were greeted very warmly. The "rose cottage" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our " home away from home". And we will come back for sure.

We had a lovely Pentecost weekend. Annet had hung up garlands and put down a present because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. There were also cookies and fresh eggs. The cottage is located on a quiet campsite with friendly staff. The beach is nearby, and you can enjoy cycling in the area.

The house boat was just as it looked in the pictures! It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. It was perfect how the kids sort of had their side, or wing, and my husband and I had our space in the master bedroom, on the other side. We all slept very well! We loved the cats, Skip & Bo. We are animal people, so it was fun having them come and go, and socialize and snuggle with us! The views were amazing and there were plenty of spots to just chill when we weren't out exploring. The house boat was very walkable to many fun spots and different areas. We definitely felt like we were staying in someone's home versus a rental. Enjoyed all of the personal touches in the kitchen as well! We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Joost's place without hesitation!

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

Evelien was wonderful, kind and helpful. The apartment was just as it was described and the pictures are what you enter as well! Perfect apartment for us and our little girl 15 months old. the bed was soooo comfortable! the apartment was clean and well looked after. we didn't hear any noise apart, it was incredibly peaceful.

Magdalena welcomed us in a very friendly way and lovingly took care of us. Although we did not book breakfast, she provided us with bread and other treats. The apartment matches the description, the location is beautiful. We will be happy to come back!

We had such a great time at Laura’s Airbnb! While it was a long walk to the heart of Amsterdam, there are so many public transportation options close by and they are so easy to navigate. The neighborhood is gorgeous and we would definitely stay again!
