The Granary

HannahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a fantastic weekend staying here to celebrate my best friend. The house is gorgeous with so much space! The photos do not do it justice! There was a lovely pool and hot tub. Sarah came by to make sure we’d settled in and was available if we needed anything. We’d even got a later check out which was a great bonus. Everyone had a great time! I will definitely recommend booking The Granary! I would love to come back for another trip. Sarah had also left us a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us which was a lovely touch we appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Northfield, Cottage Apartment

Karen IrinnaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Absolutely beautiful caravan. Spacious and so accommodating and a stunning view!
A decorative wall sign features three stacked wooden panels in shades of blue. The top panel reads 'Welcome,' the middle panel says 'To Our Home,' and the bottom panel states 'By The Sea.' Simple illustrations of birds and a house enhance the welcoming theme.

Northfield, Garden Apartment (3 bedroom)

HamedRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

Northfield, Garden Apartment (2 bedroom)

MairiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Booked Northfield as a base close to family as well as attending events in the central belt. House was perfect for our family, clean, tidy and lovely big outdoor space. Little added extras such as the loaf of bread, milk, butter and shortbread was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and have already passed on to my relatives abroad who may wish to visit the area in the future as an ideal base.

SavithaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

If you're looking for a peaceful place in a beautiful location where can rest and venture out from into East Lothian, this cottage is the place for you! Spacious but homely, quiet but surrounded by animals, rural but very accessible from the lovely village of Gifford. Amy Flora was helpful and communicative while giving plenty of space. Highly recommended!

The Bothy was a home from home base within easy reach of several places of interest and yet in a peaceful, farm setting. Every need had been catered for and having a small garden was a bonus. Jill was a great host...there to meet us and to say goodbye. We would highly recommend it.

2 bed period Victorian property in historic town

WendyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We were visiting friends in Haddington, Edinburgh and Stenhousemuir. Very nice ground floor flat, comfortably furnished. Opposite a school but you'd never know - so quiet. Great location for a quick walk into Haddington and a base for exploring the local area. Hope to be back before too long.

Original Stone Barn Reimagined as a Chic Minimalist Hideaway

HenryRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Exceptional in every way. It worked perfectly for us as a base to enjoy the local golf courses, North Berwick and Edinburgh. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully laid out and extremely functional, we wanted for nothing, Steph had thought of everything. It felt like a 5* luxury stay. We’ll definitely be back soon, felt like there’s so much to see and do locally. We got lucky with the weather but I’m sure it would be equally relaxing to hunker down at the Barn in bad weather! All of Steph’s recommendations were great and being walking distance from the train and the town was such a bonus. Can’t wait to return! Thanks again!

Cottage by the Sea, Dunbar

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved the location of this gorgeous property, bus stop right outside if needed and a double driveway. For us we're quite active so loved that lots of things were within easy walking distance otherwise a short drive away. Loved the interior through out. There was a Bar BQ which we didn't use although we didn't see this mentioned on the 'whats included list' as we love to Bar BQ and would have brought our utensils if we knew. Otherwise a perfect stay and would love to come back.

Charming coach house by the sea.

MicheleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jalinga is an adorable coach house in a great location. My husband, son, and I stayed here for 12 days because my son played in a golf tournament. We were walking distance to Craigielaw & Kilspindie but also able to walk to everything in Aberlady including the beach with ease. The local restaurants were fantastic and our hosts gave us great suggestions for things to do on our non-golfing days. The public transportation was very easy. Caroline & Lindsay were amazing hosts. Responded to any and all needs quickly. We felt very cared for by them. All of the instructions were clear and they were extremely responsive from the minute we booked. The place itself had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for our family of three. It's obvious they put a lot of love and care into Jalinga and everything seems brand new. The back garden is an added bonus and we were lucky to see many of the flowers in bloom. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Stunning Stables Cottage in East Lothian Country E

JoyceRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful well presented cottage, in stunning grounds and location. Cottage very spacious, set in the heart of beautiful grounds near to Kilduff House. Met the young lady Jenny who runs the riding stables she was lovely and friendly, beautiful horses. Every morning I would go and see the lambs I bumped into the owner of kilduff house, lovely woman very pleasant and interesting. Beautiful walks in the grounds, so peaceful and quiet during the day and night and very relaxing atmosphere. Only ten minute drive into Aberlady, lovely hotel to have a meal, also Indian takeaway. Five minute drive into beautiful Gullane, lovely beach walk, golf course and Archerfield lovely place for breakfast or lunch. We enjoyed our evening meals from The Mallard Hotel and the Old Clubhouse in Gullane, people are so friendly. I most definitely recommend a stay at the cottage, we will definitely be back again for another stay soon.
