A Perfect Getaway at a Beautiful Water View Cottage! Our group of girlfriends recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely Airbnb cottage in Norland, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was great, with great views of the water that made every moment feel special. The cottage itself was very nice, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were attentive. We were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the wonderful deck due to the weather. However, the hot tub was a fantastic highlight of our stay, and we made the most of it! Overall, our stay was great, and look forward to returning. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery, this is the place to be!

This cabin offers a cozy retreat. The space is snug and warm—perfect for curling up with a book or simply watching the rain fall through large windows. All of the amenities were as described and we look forward to returning.

Lovely place and lovely hosts - across from a river and a park, impeccably clean, very comfortable, and some of the best and most welcoming communication ever. Huntsville is a dreamy place with lots of walking trails and restaurants. It was a beautiful late spring getaway.

Tavia as a great host - greeted us so warmly and so well that we were genuinely impressed by her and her place. This is like a hidden Gem of a place. May not be upto everyone's liking - as you should remember what you signed up for - some alone time in the woods - and the place serves this purpose so well! This was the first of a kind experience for both me and my wife. She was so accommodating our requests and helped us with suggesting some brilliant places and fun activities. Her place is highly recommended.

Hidden gem!! A touch of paradise! Beautiful rustic cabins! Incredible lake views with the most clear water! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious! We had an amazing week here relaxing and enjoying! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was a wonderful place for a couple to get away, it is very well appointed for two people. The gazebo was wonderful to have, the dock was great and has seating, lots of wood for the fires, the living room was a very nice space in the evenings. You have neighbours but the lot is very private. Overall very nice place to relax and enjoy the highland areas.

A perfect getaway. From sunbathing on the upper deck to lounging in the hammock seats to sitting by the fire and enjoying the sounds of the bugs and birds, this is the perfect escape from city life. The privacy was incredible! Bikes were provided and allowed me to explore the surrounding community which is also quite picturesque. Driving along the main road one can see many lakes with the perfect cottage-view. Jenise was very responsive and kind and made me feel comfortable during my stay. There was a pamphlet provided which was very helpful for things like using the outdoor shower and electricity for the tiny home. They also included a map of the property and the walking trails nearby which were lovely to explore! The view from the Big Tiny is incredible from all angles, the home beautiful and clever, and the horses were a HUGE plus. They were so sweet and it was lovely to wake up daily to the excitement of seeing them roaming the property. I can’t recommend staying here enough!

This tiny house was in a beautiful setting and was even better than the listing. We had a peaceful quiet experience. Tammy was quick to respond when I had questions .. The experience was 10 out of 10.. I highly recommend this particular location and of course the Robinson’s general store never disappoints.

We had a wonderful time at Barkview Hideaway! The owners are clearly experienced hosts, you can tell as soon as you walk into the chalet. They do a great job anticipating guests' needs. The place is cozy, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Nestled in the forest, it offers stunning views of the lake. The lake itself is gorgeous. We visited during a peaceful time and barely saw anyone else around. It felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. A unique experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

hostess was amazing and super friendly! made us feel at home just was a small bit expensive for one night of stay but definitely a night to remember thank you for your beautiful cabin stay

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

Extremely responsive and friendly host - our WiFi dropped off after flickering and they came round the next morning to fix it and gave us some fresh eggs! Loved the space and amenities and would definitely stay again!

The cottage was peaceful, private, and fully stocked with all the daily use stuff we forgot to pack (a lifesaver, honestly). Only letdown? The weather. Still, the vibes were right, and we made the most of it. Definitely would book again.

Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

After stepping out of the car, we were stunned by the silence. Melissa and Greg have a beautiful, well decorated Tiny Home, that has everything you need. We had a great start to the morning using their yoga mats and incense, looking through the massive windows. We canoed almost 1km down the creek and back. And the bed was so comfy. Really good place to live, the place had everything you can ask for kayaking, fireplace, bikes, trails to try. The place was really nice, radek took so much time to work on the place and it was one of the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in. Really enjoyed my time there. Thank you radek :)

we loved the space. it was exactly what we were looking for. the privacy and space of an off grid cabin with some added comforts to make it easy and relaxing rather than just work. the wood fired sauna was a treat and having an outdoor shower to rinse off was excellent. the hosts are gracious, helpful, have a great story and meaning to share if you want, but also respect your privacy and don't intrude. everything is situated on a beautiful piece of generational land which they generously encourage you to explore. For anyone looking for comfort while in nature and heartfelt passion for the land, you'll find it here.

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

This was the perfect gateway spot for my partner and I plus our two small dogs. The cabin itself is basic with a comfy mattress, a mini fridge, lamp, table and heater/fan. The campsite is big and right on the beautiful lake. Bathroom facilities were a stones throw away and always clean. We made use of the shared barbecue. It was a chilly weekend so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beach or boats but it is great to have them on site!

For our first time up in Algonquin, Jess & Stewart's cabin was the perfect stay. They were friendly, responsive, and the place looks exactly like the photos. We even had the chance to see wild turkeys! Even though we came on a rainy weekend, we had a great experience.
