We enjoyed staying at this out of the way on our adventure around Scotland. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Angela was great about answering any questions. Very peaceful and quiet.

The Chefs Cottage

JacobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Cottage was as described, clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen which we really enjoyed for making breakfast, and great bathrooms. Loch Tay is such a peaceful spot. We hiked the first day at Acharn Falls and the Birks of Aberfeldy. Both great family hikes. Day 3 we hiked Ben Lawers which is about 8-9 west along lake if you want a challenge. Stop in Aberfeldy at Coop for lots of groceries but definitely try the small store next door to cottage. Taymouth marina is close for watersports, book ahead if you want to do sauna or hot tub. Restaurant there was nice for dinner. Overall, a great experience.

Absolutely idyllic. A total get away.... Fabulous walks near by. Enjoyed watching the sun go down every evening. Only slight downside were the minimal cooking facilities...as I do like to cook.. Might worth investing in a BBQ. But apart from that definitely well worth it.

Waterfront Character Cottage - Kenmore

NicoletteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Excellent 4 bedroom/5 full bathroom house. It is very private on a picturesque peninsula in in the small village of Kenmore. Beautiful view of loch and river from all the windows. Lots of space for larger groups. Games and books to entertain. The host is very prepared for guests. Kitchen and dining area quite large. Washer and dryer in laundry room with ironing board and iron. Adjustable heat throughout. Gorgeous house with wonderful history. Well situated about 1.5 hr from EDI. Easy to drive there. Sheep and little lambs everywhere! Very peaceful and pastoral. Highland Safari is about 10 min drive - and definitely an activity to do when staying here. Aberfeldy is 15 min easy drive to get groceries, gas, and access to local restaurants and bakery (Breadalbane!). Easy to communicate with host. Minimal checkout requirements. Highly recommend!

The Edge - Amazing 140-foot" Cliff Top Views

HazelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most incredible stay at Windy Edge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The photos were stunning when we booked, but the reality exceeded every expectation. The property is modern, beautifully kept, and clearly designed with care – every detail thoughtfully considered. Lynsay and Dave were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location is perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to shops for anything you might need, striking the ideal balance. The views are truly something special, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I’ve stayed in many beautiful places. Waking up to those stunning landscapes each morning was a real privilege. The space itself is spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, my family made the most perfect memories together Can’t recommend Windy Edge highly enough – we will definitely be back xx

Cosy lodge, near Killin & Lawers, Loch Tay

RikkiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What an absolutely beautiful lodge Julian and Jarno have created. As soon as we walked in, we decided that we definitely wanted them to come and do the interior design for our home for us. It also has every amenity you could think of and then some more! The view out to the loch is the best view we've ever had, with the added benefit of so much wildlife. The welcome gifts were gorgeous and extremely thoughtful. We'd planned loads of things to do in the area but we needn't have bothered because the guide provided was the best I've ever seen by far. Fabulous detail and so personalised with genuine opinions clearly from real experiences. All our favourite things we did on our trip were recommended by Julian and Jarno and we were so sad not to be able to do more of them. We'll definitely be planning a repeat longer visit to do those we missed this time and to spend more time in the lodge itself- it's such a beautiful space, it's hard to go out and leave it! Extremely highly recommended.

The Kennels, Tom of Lude

SandraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an unforgettable stay at The Kennels, Tom of Lude. The house was impeccably clean, warm, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine in the bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked, making meal preparation a breeze. The property offers breathtaking views that truly enhance the experience. The private garden provided a peaceful retreat, and the log-burning electric stove added a cozy touch to our evenings. We can't wait to return next year!
