Lovely wooden holiday lodge in a beautiful scenic area on the Solway coast. This lodge has 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen /living area, toilet and shower room, balcony, and parking for two cars. (sorry, no pets allowed) We are 10 mins walk from the tidal estuary, cockle shell beach and woodland walks , & 2min ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails Sadly The Anchor village pub closed in Dec25, and The Mariner won't open until summer 26. Other pubs/takeaways within 5-10min drive.

This is a comfortable, quiet, self-contained ground floor apartment surrounded by fields and hills. Ideal for short retreats or walking/cycling - we're off a quiet road popular with cyclists. Lots of hill forts and 2 stone circles in the area. We're one & a half miles from the famous Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre and 20 mins away from the A7 and M74. (Also 20 minutes away from the nearest shops)! Possibly handy as a stop-over on the way to Edinburgh which is just under 2 hours away.
