Great little spot by the river. Flat was clean and functional. For what we needed it was perfect, and considering the price, it was good value. No allocated parking, but easily found space on the opposite side of the street.

Solway Holiday Villa

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

High Lodge, Galloway House Estate

MonikaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolute blast at the cottage. It is a special place. It is small but somehow just spacious enough to make our stay very comfortable. The kitchen has all you might ever need and the AGA is magical! The cows outside are very friendly and the walk to the beach is beautiful and convenient. We fell in love with Scotland also thanks to our experience in the cottage. Thank you very much!

The Hidden Mill: Historic with Dark Skies Spa.

HeleneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Warm, cosy, attention to detail and loved the historical aspect with the old mill. The gardens were outstanding with the peaceful and relaxing sound of running water. I struggle to sleep at home, and i slept like a log here. My bed was super comfy. The donkeys across the road were a big highlight for us. We didnt use the hot tub or sauna but will definitely be back, and will definitely be using them. The owner was lovely, very responsive and helpful and allowed us early check in which was a nice thing to do. Would 100% recommend xx

Lovely bright seafront ground floor apartment

SunitaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This well-equipped ground-floor apartment looking out onto the sea a few 100 ms away is fairly centrally located in Ayr. Good access to Burns birthplace in Alloway and the amazing Culzean castle along the coast. If you are interested in history, there is much to see in the neighbouring countryside and coastline apart from the town-centre. Alison is a great host and left lots of welcome treats including butter, milk and Scottish goodies! She was quick to respond to our queries and provided lots of useful advice. A wonderful stay in a cosy, clean and comfortable flat with a reasonable time to check out at 11 am! Kids loved access to both Netflix and Disney! Thank you Alison!

Stylish Riverside apartment within a Park setting

JanetteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Excellent location-easy to walk into town centre but as premises were in a park and overlooking river then best of both worlds. Spacious rooms, large equipped kitchen ,one shower room and one bathroom were great for more than one couple or families. Very tastefully decorated. Great sleep. Dog friendly too -was nice to have accommodation that was very homely and decorated nicely but also accepted dogs, good walking on doorstep, was great value for people sharing cost as probarbly the upper end of what we are happy to pay for a couple of nights but no complaints as a pleasure to come back to after a day out and about. Dog treats and hamper were a lovely welcomed gesture.

Luxury Loft Coastal retreat Sandgreen Scotland

JacquiRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A fantastic place to stay. We loved the big window overlooking the bay and watching the tides and the weather. Lots of lovely welcome gifts too! Cake, tablet, cava, oatcakes and marmalade….we felt really spoiled! The bay is lovely for swimming at high tide and you can walk out to islands at low tide. There’s also a lovely little path from the bottom of the garden along the shore to some small shell beaches you can have all to yourself. Definitely hope to be back before too long !
