Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Duluth

I am relatively new to Airbnb, and our group truly could not have asked for a better host than Tracy! She was so incredibly welcoming and very responsive to messages. My wife and I flew into Duluth and were meeting my brothers and a friend who drove up from IL. We arrived earlier than the rest of our group and needed to get some work done. Tracy let us check in several hrs early so that we did not have to find a restaurant/coffee shop to work for the day. When we were leaving, we did not have enough space in the car for everyone's bags since we had flown in, and Tracy let us leave some in the room and come pick them up well after normal check out on our way to the airport. The apartment itself was amazing. It was clean, cozy, and warm. The bathroom was lovely with hot water, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We were in town for photography, but we also enjoyed playing several of the many games available in the apartment. I 10/10 recommend Tracy as a host!!!!

The home was ideal for our stay in Superior. It was very welcoming and clean and was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts did a great job communicating before, during and after our stay. This will be our first choice for a place to stay on our next visit to the area.

This was my second stay at Maria’s place, and I/we truly love it here. It is clean, cozy, and fits our needs perfectly—so easy to settle in and feel at home. The garage is super convenient, and being right next to Kwik Trip (a Wisconsin classic!) is the cherry on top. Maria is a thoughtful, responsive host, and I am genuinely grateful to have found this spot. I am already looking forward to our next visit! Five stars.

Perfect place for my friends and my cats to spend the weekend! It’s hard to find places that’ll accept cats so I was really grateful for this find. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay!

Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. Very nice place. Super spacious main floor. Right next to water. We went for walks on waterfront park each night. Bridge over the road is two blocks down. Also played board games each night. House is about 2 miles from main peninsula where the ship bridge is. Slept well although bed and pillows not my preference. Recommend this place for sure.

This cabin is a great family get away. 30 min drive from Duluth or Two Harbors, fun is never to far away. The home is a vacation in and of itself could spend a whole week just on the property.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gales! House was so cute, clean, and in a beautiful location! Tabitha pays great attention to detail and makes the place feel like a true “home away from home”. Our kids liked the toys and games she provided :) Would absolutely recommend the Gales, and we can’t wait to go back!❤️

This is either our 2nd or third time staying at Greg's place and it is perfect for us. Located in a very peaceful area and near much of what Duluth has to offer us. Greg was always quick to respond to any questions we had and a super host. We would definitely book there again!!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Incredible location right over the lift bridge. Easy to get to and find. Central to restaurants and breweries and quick drives to multiple state parks. Great spot

I loved this place! It was exactly as advertised with solid amenities and no clutter getting in my way. The location was great and it was very peaceful there. There was sound from the homeowners above, but only comforting homey sounds. I enjoyed watching the deer out the windows. The small kitchen was well organized and easy to cook and clean up. Overall a great place to stay. I definitely recommend.

Great location. Rooms were clean, and decor was fabulous. The only problem we ran into was that there was no grill so we ended up cooking inside instead and because it is a lower level there was not much ventilation and the smoke alarms went off...other than that we had a fin and peaceful weekend.

Enjoyed the sauna, kids love the bunk bed. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable for me. The place is not fancy but was private, nice porch, fire pit and adequate kitchen. Worked for what we needed.

A truly magical escape! From the moment we stepped into this cabin, it felt like walking into a storybook. Every corner was full of love, thoughtfulness, and hidden treasures. It was like staying in a living museum—so many charming details to take in, quirky pieces to admire, and cozy nooks to explore. There was something new to appreciate each day. Our kids were absolutely enchanted! They spent hours playing with the games, LEGOs, army men, and other little gems tucked around the cabin. Their imaginations ran wild—and so did their energy (thankfully!). The surrounding nature was the perfect playground: long nature walks, climbing trees, watching birds and critters—it was nonstop adventure from sunrise to sunset. And after all that fun? The beds were like clouds. So comfortable, we all slept like logs every night. We are so grateful to have found this slice of magic and can’t wait to return. It’s more than a stay—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Erin’s place. Cozy little cabin close to the water that offered a reprieve from life’s typical hustle and bustle. The cabin has been expertly remodeled and decorated, and is so homey! Also appreciate the collection of recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and things to see and do nearby, as the locals’ perspective is very important.

We just stayed for a week (this was our second family trip to this place) and our family loves it. Amazing views of the lake and shore, feels very private, and an overall cozy/comfortable place for a get-away. The main floor is quite creaky when you walk on it, which can be loud if someone is up later or earlier than others, but that’s the only “negative” about this place. It’s not that bad, but worth mentioning. Everything else is excellent though. And the location is hard to beat. I would highly recommend a family trip here.

Damian was a responsive and hospitable host. The cabin is gorgeous, the view was great, and the sauna was hot! Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

My partner and I had the perfect long-weekend getaway with our black lab! It was cozy and restful. We took the kayaks out around the entire island and tried to paddle board as well. If you do bring your dog in the early spring though, beware of the ticks and other insects! It was filled with both.

Excellent stay! The location is ideal for a north shore adventure and the cabin makes a fantastic basecamp. Comfortable, clean, and thoughtful arranged to accommodate outdoor gear, cooking needs, and hang out space. Not to mention the Lake superior view and private waterfront space!
