Waterfront vacation rentals in Duluth

It’s very clean and a neat place to stay great view of the lake watched the the full moon rise out the windows. Would love to have stayed longer. We may be back.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gales! House was so cute, clean, and in a beautiful location! Tabitha pays great attention to detail and makes the place feel like a true “home away from home”. Our kids liked the toys and games she provided :) Would absolutely recommend the Gales, and we can’t wait to go back!❤️

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Incredible location right over the lift bridge. Easy to get to and find. Central to restaurants and breweries and quick drives to multiple state parks. Great spot

Beautiful apartment right on Island Lake. The deck is great for morning coffee, afternoon Happy Hour and anytime in between. There is a kayak, paddle board and pedal boat available. The apartment is spotless. Marie was very responsive to any questions. Great host. Great apartment. Great stay.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at one of Dillions places. Both have been amazing. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!

Amazing place to stay right on the beach and in quick walking distance to canal park. Was amazing being right on the beach and being able to enjoy the beach at night and watch the ships come in. Carl was super responsive and quick to respond! Would definitely stay here again!

A cozy charming Airbnb, perfect for a weekend getaway in Duluth! This was a great location and love the detailed decor. Perfect amount of space for my husband and I with our 6 month old and dog, highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Island Lake Getaway. Fishing was great right off the dock. We were able to use kayaks and pedal boats, and they also had lots of sand toys and games for the kids to play outside. There isn’t anything that could have made this a better stay than it was! We were so impressed with the property, and all the family who came to visit was also blown away by how beautiful it was. We usually book a hotel when we stay in Duluth, but this was so much better for our family of 4.

We had a great stay at this home! We loved how clean and homey it was, had gorgeous views, and was walkable to canal park! The beach is gorgeous and was fun to spend time on the upper deck. Opening the windows and listening to the waves was a wonderful way to relax! We would absolutely recommend this home and will be back!

Nancy was a fantastic host! Her home was beautiful, spotless, and just right for two. The lakefront views were stunning, especially with the beach just steps from the back door. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked and made cooking easy. Everything about the stay, inside and out, was perfect. I'll be recommending to family and friends.

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

I cannot recommend Meredith's place enough! The location cannot be beat, the house itself is gorgeous, and the views are amazing. I've stayed in many Airbnbs and this one definitely takes the cake. From the linens to the bowl of snacks, there was a lot of thought that went into the place and it's evident. I will definitely keep this at the top of my list for the next trip up to Duluth!

We had a wonderful stay! I was traveling with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved spending time by the lake, playing with the extra toys and games on the property, and especially making s’mores by the fire at night. It was the kind of stay where you truly make lasting memories together. A special shoutout to Daniela. She was fantastic. Super attentive, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her personal touch made the whole experience even better. Clean and quiet with a nice view. End unit a plus.

Very nicely decorated - loved the layout. Lots of space. Walked to the Aquarium and all of the restaurants and shops. Pool and hot tub were handy and the front desk staff was very helpful. Would definitely rent this place again and again.

The condo had beautiful decor & perfectly set up!! We had all we needed for a wonderful weekend on the north shore!

This was one of our favorite vacations! Loved the pool and the indoor/outdoor hot tub. The separate suites were the best part! We all loved having our own space. With the separate suites we could escape to our room with the kitchen and do all the cleanup or play games while the kids were sleeping- It was fantastic. We came on Memorial Day weekend, and were so surprised at how quiet it was! Even between our rooms we couldn’t hear each other, but also between the neighbors there was no sound! Quiet corner on the top floor was amazing. The kitchen is well stocked with the essentials. Nespresso machines in all three rooms was much appreciated. The mini fridge/microwave in the other two rooms was great too. We stored kid snacks and bedtime bottles in the kid’s room. Sonju Trail, Lakeview playground, and Back Forty Books- so fun with kids! This was a very family friendly place to go. We will be back in the fall to see the colors because the views from this place would be breathtaking!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there 6 days / 5 nights. Loved the cabin, the lake, conveniently included boat and kayaks. Close to the nearest town, Iron River, but not too close. The perfect vacation. Air BnB wants me to list both pros and cons; the ONLY cons i can think of is there wasn't stairs leading off the back porch, so its a big step. Not that big of a deal at all. And the other thing would be the bathroom layout. It would be more comfortable if the sink and toilet locations were swapped. As is, the toilet puts the user right up against the wall and door, but that's being real nit-picky. Honestly, we loved everything about our stay and will book again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Hard to ask for more than a great location and a well-maintained place... But the hosts offer a plethora of other add-ons as well.
