Vacation rentals in Munising

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

Walt is a great host and the property has an amazing view. I’m sure it’s great year around but it looked like there was even more available in the summer. Feels like the middle of nowhere but just 15 minutes from town if you need something. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

The place was great. We had a large group visiting for the weekend and the rental had plenty of room for all of us. And we loved the hot tub and pool table. Some things weren't quite functioning, like the downstairs shower and broken pool sticks - but didn't affect our stay. If you visit in the winter, I would only recommend bringing a car with all wheel drive. The parking is down a hill and we had quite a bit of difficulty getting out with our front wheel drive vehicles.

My party of 8 absolutely loved this location! Katherine was incredibly helpful during our entire stay. Everything was as advertised and living spaces were incredibly clean!

We had a lovely visit in mid-March; our children (5 & 7) enjoyed the pool and rubber duckie claw machine. My husband and I played air hockey (I won!). We had a nice fish fry dinner at the bar. Very relaxing

Tim and Mike are both responsive and nice. Their motel is pleasant, cozy and most importantly, pet friendly! My wife and I had fun barbecuing at the backyard and so as our dogs. Will recommend to peers!

What a great place! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Clean. Cute. Quiet. Lots of thoughtful things like signage, cookies, and a bike shed. Incredible value! Walkable to all the fun things on Third Street and not far at all from the Ore Dock area. 10/10

Super clean, cozy and just as described. I’d say it was better than the photo on the VRBO app. Super simple place but I feel they did a great job with the space.Fair price and comfortable.

Just perfect for our April visit to the UP. Quiet season! Jessie was super responsive and accommodating when we had questions via the airBb app. Totally at our service yet we had complete solitude and never met each other. The motel was empty because it was iff season which we loved. Also…favorite shower ever. Thank you so much, Jessie! Cant wait to return! 💞

Super easy check in and check out, a couple mile ride from the trails, but otherwise 5 stars across the board!!

Timothy is a fantastic host. My stay with my dog was excellent. The bed's comfort is outstanding. Thank you Timothy for the outside dog run. Very helpful when traveling with Maurie, my golden retriever!

Great location and stay

Friendly host! Needed a place to stay and booked this place about an hour before we arrived. Seamless check-in!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend trip along the Escanaba River, and the cabin was perfect for that! We spent time fishing and relaxing by the fire outside, and really enjoyed listening to the sounds of the river. We had our two teenage boys and two dogs with us, and the screened in porch area was great to grill and let the dogs hang out with us without having to worry about them getting loose. We played some board games and watched a few DVD movies as a family (they did have all the streaming apps available too), and it was just a great weekend getaway for us!

This place was stunning. The hosts thought of everything that anyone would need while staying at their house. They were wonderful with communication. The cabin was so cozy. Lots of fun snow activities in Marquette and Munising. This place has wonderful views and is at a perfect location. We hope to make this trip a yearly tradition. 😊

I’m so glad I found this place so that I could take my fiancé on an amazing trip for her birthday! I’m not usually a camping type person, but staying here was super comfortable and a great way to be out in nature and off grid without being miserable in a tent. We loved grilling and sitting outside where it was peaceful and private, perfect for just the two of us. Thank you to the owners of this campground for helping us have a perfect trip!

Our family had a wonderful short stay in this beautiful cottage. It had the vibe of a modern home, but was very cozy. We felt right at home. The beach was just a short walk away, and although it was a bit cold to spend much time down there, this would be a PERFECT place for a summer getaway. Casandra was very responsive and provided clear instructions. We definitely recommend this spot!

This was a nice apartment with everything we needed, as well as plenty of extra items. There were four of us: two adults, one teenager, and one preteen. It was easy to check-in, and Chelsey was very communicative and responsive. The location was absolutely ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable with modern furniture and linens. Rebecca went above and beyond to make the cabin welcoming with a handwritten note, calming essential oil diffusers, house plants, and lavender bath products. The location was within 15-30 minutes of Pictured Rocks, which makes the cabin a great home base for outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Munising is only about 10 minutes away too. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking after a day outdoors. Rebecca was responsive and friendly. We recommend this cabin for a trip to the UP!

This house is lovely! We were comfortable here, and we were happy to retreat back at the house at the end of each day of exploring and adventuring around Munising and Marquette. The drive to hiking, sightseeing, water activities, shopping, and restaurants was simple and easy (allow for 25-35 min drive- it is worth it!). The house has everything you need! The bed is very soft (and a bit high off the ground). The non-stick pans in the kitchen were helpful. The front porch is so cozy and the windows were so easy to open to enjoy the cool morning breeze. If you bring a Roku for the tv- do not forget your remote. We ended up using the house’s blue ray player and we watched some of the movies that were provided, but we also downloaded movies on my iPad to watch. I was perfectly happy to read a book while sipping coffee on the porch. I highly recommend this sweet home. We enjoyed ourselves, and the communication with Travis was exceptional!
