Absolutely spotless and lovely! Loved the small touches and couldn’t as for a better location. Never even had to move our car! Even though it was rainy and pre-busy season, we had a great time and are looking forward to our visit later this summer!

Catherine was good to work with! Didn’t get to talk too much to her though. Coming from a VERY small town, trying to stay in a city with a lot of people can be stressful and easy to get worked up over. Catherine explained check in and parking very well to not have us stress. The Johnson is located in the perfect spot, walking distance of everything! I read other reviews saying music can be loud due to bar underneath, but we had no problem with noise! One thing I look for and care about the most, is how clean the place is. To say that was accomplished is an understatement. Linens, floor, bathroom, everything was very clean and homie! It was a great stay and we are definitely booking again next time we come! Thank you Catherine!

A great place to stay right in the middle of beautiful historic Dubuque. In walking distance of many shops and eateries. The apartment is wonderfully remodeled and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Hope to stay again someday!

Place was absolutely perfect and exactly as described. Location was great for anything and everything that we wanted to do. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Galena.

I grew up in Saint donatus and know a lot of the locals down at Massey, it was an honor staying close to friends and family again. A remote location that captures the serenity and peacefulness of Iowa. I loved showing my wife and daughter the lands I used to call home.

We had a fantastic long weekend here! Chris was very thoughtful - she put out welcome packages of toiletries and a sick care kit, she stocked the fridge with bottled water, and she left us a bag of ice in the freezer. She was also communicative and responded quickly to messages. The house is right on the lake with lovely views from the wraparound porch! It was a perfect getaway. I would definitely recommend others to stay here!

Doreen’s place was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The screened-in porch and outdoor deck offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Having multiple bathrooms was a major convenience, especially for our group of six. We also really enjoyed the amenities at the owner’s club, particularly the pool and fitness center. Doreen was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Well-stocked kitchen. We were hoping for a toaster, and there was one. Due to AC units in the windows, outside noises (birds/trains) come in a bit more than you'd expect; I'm probably noise sensitive due to having an infant. Would not recommend for someone looking for a fragrance-free home; had a (pleasant) air-freshener type smell. Overall very clean - did find some dust and threads behind beds. Spacious and great for our purposes - good for a family.

Beautiful farm house, extremely well equipped and clean. Lots to do in the house and around. The ATV trail is fine for walking. Cute amall towns around.

This place worked out perfectly for us. Theresa was responsive immediately and very cordial and helpful. We will return if we are ever in Platteville again.

The filmmakers attending the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) loved staying here! It was a perfect place to be!

Our family had a fantastic job at Dan's place. The location is great - close enough to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, but very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The unit had everything we need and was much larger than the pictures made it seem. Galena had great shopping and restaurants. Galena Territory Owners Club indoor pool was perfect for the kids. I'd recommend staying here anytime we make it back to Galena Territory!

Great place to stay very close to downtown Galena.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 10 min drive from downtown Galena in a quiet wooded area with paved trails that you can take to the nearby amenities. The place was clean, quiet, and the bathtub was amazing! The gym and indoor/outdoor pool are very nice but about 1.5 miles from the condo which wasn't stated anywhere (or at least not anywhere we saw) and was a little disappointing but overall wasn't a huge deal. The restaurant is a short walk through the trails or you can drive to it. It's right next door. Also, the initial message you get after booking with the rules and asking to email them out of the app was a little daunting and not normal for Airbnb bookings. It just had a less "homey" experience that you expect from Airbnb. It made me slightly nervous but after everything I would certainly stay here again.

A beautiful place in a great location. Just minutes from all the golf courses. The home was extremely well kept and updated. The sunroom was awesome.

The place is about 5 miles from Galena but not a bad drive to town. If possible, stay in a suite that has a view. Beautiful to wake up to & star gaze at night. The pool is big, the hot tub is hot, the fitness center is well-equipped, & the kid's rec room also. The lobby is huge with a nice fireplace. The suites are large & like a nice, small apartment. It was fun going thru the many shops downtown. Make sure you take some time to tour Galena's many beautiful old homes & buildings. Visit the visitors center by the river in the old depot & have breakfast or lunch across the street at Ottos'. Love this town!

Fantastic stay at Elle & Beck's place. Stayed with friends to celebrate an anniversary and the location was ideal to explore all that Main Street in Galena has to offer. Very comfy beds and spacious bathrooms - great to have counter space in an older building's bathrooms which is uncommon and a pleasant surprise. The living area was well appointed with comfortable furniture and was a great space to start the day or unwind after a day's events. Very responsive hosts with great communication. Sincerely appreciated the offer to sent a couple of items that were accidentally left behind - very thoughtful. If you are looking for a great place to stay for 6 guests, you would have a difficult task to locate a better place to stay in downtown Galena than Elle & Beck's. We've been to Galena several times and this was a memorable stay. Our friends that came along raved about the location as well. Should we be looking for a place for 6 on our next stay, this one is at the top of our list.
