Right above the property is Kopåsbatteriet, a cannon position that participated in the protection of the German warship Blucher on April 9, 1940. Drøbak's oldest house, Thorsehuset from 1760, is located on the same property. The house is worthy of protection and safeguarded with extensive work.

Everyone is welcome to rent our detached house. The house is in a peaceful location next to a small farm, and the forest is the closest neighbor. Peaceful location, but a good starting point for hikes. Only a 7-minute drive to Vestby, where you have a shopping center and the Oslo Fashion Outlet. From Vestby, it takes 20 minutes by train to Oslo. Swimming opportunities by the Oslo fjord are a 20-minute drive away. Tusenfryd amusement park 25 min. Unfortunately, there is no public transportation that passes by the property, so you are dependent on a car.

Perfect for families on vacation, friends, couples or for those who will work in the area. Minimum stay is 3 days. Note: guests clean and wash themselves out of the house. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.

The house is located 40 meters from the sea and offers a stunning view of Vestfold. Here you can enjoy a hot tub, barbecuing with a gas grill, a covered seating area, and some amazing sunsets. It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach, where you can swim, dive, and jump off the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbar that the kids love. Inside, there are most of the amenities, and the view of the fjord is just as good from the sofa. The house is located near the end of a dead-end road.

Whether you want to travel, climb, kite or just relax. Heating is provided by a heat pump and wood stove as well as panel heaters.
