The house is located at the end of a dead end road, in the middle of Drøbak city center. Quiet and secluded, while it is only a two-minute walk to the "hustle and bustle". No other residents. There is a short distance to the city center, beaches, and restaurants, so this is really a nice place to enjoy the summer days. Boligen ligger på historisk grunn med utsikt til Oscarsborg. Rett ovenfor eiendommen ligger Kopåsbatteriet, en kanonstilling som deltok i beskytningen av det tyske krigsskipet Blucher 9.april 1940. Drøbak sitt eldste hus, Thorsehuset fra 1760, ligger på samme eiendom. Huset er verneverdig og ivaretatt med omfattende arbeider.
