There is a short distance to the city center, beaches, and restaurants, so this is really a nice place to enjoy the summer days. Drøbak sitt eldste hus, Thorsehuset fra 1760, ligger på samme eiendom. Huset er verneverdig og ivaretatt med omfattende arbeider.
