Apartment vacation rentals in Dordogne

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

We had a great time in your tastefully renovated apartment, pleasant to live in, bright and above all in the heart of the Historic Center. Very well equipped from the kitchen to the bathroom, everything you need - Just like at home!!! - Free parking, bakery nearby. A big thank you to Sabine who hosted us very warmly, friendly, responsive and very generous... I highly recommend this accommodation in Bergerac, you can go there without so much as a second thought

Fabulous accommodation in the very heart of Sarlat, just steps from the Cathedral and central square. Accommodation was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, with free parking easy to access. Via a short walk. We stayed at Frederic’s place for a week. The central location allowed us to travel easily to many of the highlights in the area returning in the evening to this delightful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience and would highly recommend choosing this Air B if visiting the Dordogne region.

Very cute Airbnb! Such a charming place with everything you need. The bed was super comfortable and it was so quiet at night, even on Friday and Saturday with the bedroom window open. It was very hot when we stayed there but there is a fan in the bedroom and the windows helped cool the place down at night. Perfect location and such a beautiful place to stay!

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. A fantastic location right near the cathedral with tons of character. Great instructions and support accessing the place given its location. Note that the parking is a little challenging and would not be a place for someone with mobility issues. We loved it though!

We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others. The small restaurant which is run by the owners was excellent as well.

We spent 10 magical days at Tyler’s charming apartment located just above the church in the old city. It is an ideal location for exploring all the wonders of the Dordogne, as we headed out each day in a different direction. The spacious apartment is absolutely charming - wonderfully decorated with interesting antiques. We loved hearing the chiming of the church bells out the windows, enjoyed the local bistros, daily purchased croissant from the corner boulangerie and even had free parking a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Laura downstairs was very responsive when we had concerns, although we had very few as the apartment was spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and we were just steps away from the rest of Sarlat.

Super friendly and helpful hosts with a fantastic place to stay. Very secluded, you can relax here and leave everyday life behind. Monpazier (5 min. by car) offers a picturesque backdrop, everything you need for everyday use and in the other villages nearby, every explorer will find something. We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you again!

Marc and his wife, Allison, were amazing hosts. They were pro-active in communication, responsive and very helpful. The apartment itself is wonderful, and is exactly as described and shown in the photos. It would be hard to imagine a better location or facility to base out of while in Sarlat. Having a dedicated parking spot within easy walking distance to the apartment was terrific!! If this place is available for the duration of your visit, book it without hesitation!

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Sarlat. On the fourth floor of a very old building. Great setting with the bedroom windows over looking the rooftops of Sarlat. Furnishing and interior were very fresh. Washing machine and dishwasher.

The apartment was spacious and very nicely furnished. It was also extremely well-equipped. The location was excellent - very near the center of town - and Ludovic was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay there.

Very pleasant 2-night stay in a very nice environment with a superb view. Morgane is very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the excellent eggs made available to us. Maybe we'll come back to explore more of this beautiful region. We wish Morgane a beautiful baby.

Great apartment with terrace in a quiet neighbourhood. You can walk to Bergerac town in 15 minutes (the road itself can be busy but the apartment backs out onto a quiet estate and you can't hear the road). The apartment matched the photos, was clean and well-looked after. Pauline was a very responsive host with clear instructions provided for check-in. We had an issue with the A/C leaking and Pauline had a workman to look at the problem within a day. For any more than short breaks, we would recommend hiring a car or an e-bike.

We enjoyed our week in Sarlat at the Aux 3 Sens apartment. It was perfect. The best AirBNB we have ever stayed at. We were welcomed with a nice mint/ lemon water pitcher and a few little bites. The location is great; right in the beautiful and gastronomic medieval city. It was very hot there the last few days so the mini split air conditioning was a real plus. I love the shower in the bath! Be sure to eat in his lovely restaurant just below you. Christian was so helpful and friendly. This is THE only place to stay in Sarlat ! Very nice accommodation, easy access thanks to the elevator. Very clean, very well equipped and located close to all the points of interest of the medieval city of Sarlat. Parking nearby. A little noise in the morning but this is related to the proximity of the church and the glass collection that takes place in the morning and it is only anecdotal. Excellent communication with the owners who showed great kindness and with whom communication was very simple and pleasant. We'll be back with pleasure when we pass through Sarlat.

Our stay at Florence's was perfect. The accommodation is large, the bedding comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was perfectly clean, the pool was very well maintained and always clean, as well as the jacuzzi. With the heatwave during our stay, we greatly appreciated the pool and the accommodation keeps the cool very well! The garden around is very nice for relaxing, having an aperitif... Lots of tourist sites to visit around. Florence gave us plenty of tips about the surroundings (restaurants, markets, etc.) Very friendly welcome, very nice and warm host. We recommend!

A nice stay at Vincent's place. Location with multiple gites, adults only. Very quiet location, view over the farm. With 300 meters you are in the woods from where you can walk endlessly without encountering anyone. Gite Adele is very spacious. The gite is accessible by stairs to the first floor. Spacious bedroom, separate toilet, living room, kitchen and spacious terrace with plenty of sun. Additional facilities such as sauna, jacuzzi or pool were now closed but normally available, as well as a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is more than fully equipped and equipped with microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Good wifi available. Surroundings offer plenty of entertainment with cities, villages, castles or beautiful walks.

We had a great week at Gilles and Thierry's cottage! Very welcoming and available, their sense of service is impeccable. It was a first for us in the region and they give great tips and share good addresses, in order to perfect our stay! The cottage is very well thought out, functional and tastefully decorated. A real little slice of heaven, a few minutes walk from the center of Sarlat and with a beautiful view of the valley for a total change of scenery. The jacuzzi is a real plus to relax and fully enjoy your vacation. We recommend this stay at Gilles and Thierry's both for the charm of the accommodation and for the kindness and sense of service of their hosts!
