Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dogtown

Nice and quiet. Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Very quick to respond to questions, usually within 10 minutes.

Our stay was for 4 nights. We were there for my Son’s wedding, and Spring was very quick to communicate and was very kind and helpful. There was an iron, ironing board, and a steamer which came in extremely handy! The porch was a wonderful and private place to sit with a cup of coffee or just to visit with family. The appliances, kitchen utensils, pans, plates, etc were more than adequate and made it easy to store and prepare food. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with thoughtful extras. Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend Spring and her home if you need a place in the St. Louis area!

A great place to stay for your group/family! Large space, room for everyone! Quiet street, free of undesirables. Host accommodated early check-in as well! Id stay here again for sure!

Cozy home in a charming neighborhood … Fabulous hosts!!

We loved our stay here. The house was well put together and homey. We enjoyed the extra touches, like toothbrushes, makeup removers, and wonderful extra snacks for the kiddos. (Especially after the hot zoo all day). There was also a fantastic “guidebook” put together by the hosts, with local restaurant menus!! The physical location was in an old district, full of old historic homes and buildings. Close to the Zoo, aquarium, and the Budweiser Museum. And our kids enjoyed running around in the back yard for the night. Would definitely stay again!

Good place to stay that’s close to the downtown attractions, most places were just a 15 minute-ish drive away and lots of restaurants to try that are only 5 minutes away.

This home has a great location in a quiet and very safe feeling neighborhood and had plenty of space for our party of 9. Pros: having an enclosed back patio space for our toddler to run off energy, a great layout of bedrooms and bathrooms for families, a kitchen with all of the utensils and cookware we needed. The space was lovely, with lots of natural light and the most beautiful tree outside. I do wish I'd read the reviews more carefully, because this place was not friendly to people with mobility issues. We traveled with my parents who struggled with the amount of stairs, especially the front stairs which do not have handrails all the way. We also wished that there was more seating in the living room and that the furniture was more comfortable. The sofa was small and low backed. The garage was tricky to pull in and out of in a minivan, and we eventually gave up and parked on the street. Raj was friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and overall we would stay again.

Pros: Beds were comfortable. All 3 bedrooms had blackout curtains! HUGE bonus. Bathrooms were stocked with shower toiletries. Kitchen has all necessary utensils/pans to cook. Easy walk to corner grocery! Cons: Can't be helped because of the way the living room is laid out... wasn't enough seating (sofas, comfy chairs) for all 6 of us. Sofa is small. But there isn't anything that can be done about that. An additional TV in the master would be a great upgrade, especially for guests with large families. This can't be helped either, but guests should be aware that the parking space is below a huge mulberry tree. Our car had bird poo and mulberries all over it! It was an easy stop at the car wash on the way out of town, but it should probably be noted. 4 stars on the cleanliness.. house needs a deep cleaning. Basic cleaning was good. House is older so creaky floors upstairs! Would definitely stay again! Great house and host! Emily responded immediately with answers to questions!

Chrisy was an incredible host and has an incredible place to stay! She was very kind when the weather turned sour with tornado warnings and made sure we knew we could head to the basement and checked in on us after all was over. The house was so cute and was very clean. It’s hard to get those older homes to look good without years of buildup and she did just that. Great place- we will be back!!!

Joe's place was spotless and roomy. The high ceilings and sliding wooden doors are beautiful. We had everything we needed!

the apartment is beautifully decorated, the artwork on the walls was a nice touch. I wasnt sure what I expected but upon walking in the door up steps I was in awe. love the hardwood floors, enough windows to let in natural light, quiet area it was so serene, although i didnt use the washer and dryer it was nice knowing if i wanted to it was there, the welcoming water and pop on the table, and the host making himself available should i have questions or need anything. I would definitely stay here again.

great place to crash for a few days, as listing mentions anybody over 6’2 may find themselves a tiny bit uncomfortable since you have to duck the head down a littleeee bit to get through main entry and into bedroom (you’re in a basement, cozy and safe during tornado warnings) hosts also are very considerate in keeping upstairs noise to a minimum

We had a lovely stay at Bill’s home. It was a perfect space for our family, even with two little ones. The pool was fun and well maintained. Bill communicated clearly and proactively. We highly recommend.
