Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dodecanese Islands

We spent 1 week in this charming house. The terrace is great and the view is stunning. The house itself is built with a lot of love and you only hear the sound of the sea and the chirping of the birds. There is everything you need. Everything just fit 100 percent. There is a beautiful beach a 5-minute walk from the house. It takes about 8 minutes to get up, but it is easy to manage. The path is totally worth it. Shopping is also no problem, in the larger city of Akyaka, about 20 minutes by car, there is a well-stocked Migros, a butcher and a bakery. You can combine this well with a restaurant visit. It was perfect for us. Ali is a super nice young man and so is his family. In his restaurant, about 5 minutes by car towards Atyaka, there is very fine Gözleme. You just have to eat it. We felt so welcome! Thank you for that! Anytime again

Kiki is the best AirBnB host we stay with. Her home is much loved, well equipped and maintained. It’s a short, steep 5 minute walk up from the harbour, and 5/10 minutes from two great beaches in beautiful enclosed bays. Beyond the village there are lovely mountain walks along roads, or sometimes challenging trails, to more remote, beautiful coves.

Although Ms. Ceylan's wife checked in late in the evening, she welcomed us very well with her warmth and hospitable attitude. Everything is fully thought out for the guests who will be staying at the house. All you will do for the trip will be to take your clothes with you:)

Cute little Airbnb. Was perfect for the two of us. The area was quiet and a short walking distance to the tourist areas. Loved the balcony and the upstairs terrace. It was nice to enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon on the balcony. Nikolaos was very responsive during our stay and even booked a taxi for us to the airport for our return.

We loved our stay. Semi was extremely helpful and responsive. She provided us with great recommendations and was helpful with transfers and taxi services. Our luggage was delayed at the airport and she was responsive when the airline needed to contact her to arrange delivery. Peaceful village with beautiful views.

This was the loveliest Airbnb we have ever stayed at! Serene and beautiful, the best part being Katerina (Anastasia’s mother). She was the sweetest woman ever, made us delicious fresh breakfast and was so nice to be around her. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay in Symi was wonderful, beyond expectations! The apartment was perfect. A really good size in a stunning spot in Nimborio. The apartment had everything you could need. It has the most stunning beach front location and is very close to a beach bar (3mins walk), and another beach restaurant/bar (8mins walk). It is a short walk or taxi boat into the main port for dinner & day trips. What makes this apartment extra special is George the host. He goes above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. He communicates with you well in advance and gives you all the information you will need for arrival. He arranged a taxi to collect us from the ferry. He stocks the apartment with EVERYTHING you could think of for your stay. He even provided us with water, wine, beer and a chocolate cake. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and ideas for things to do. He met us and made us feel so welcome. 5 stars isn’t enough for George or this wonderful apartment in Symi

Very nice, great location

Manolis was very friendly and welcoming—he welcomed us in person, gave us a bottle of wine and water as a welcome. His place is beautiful looking out toward the east of the island with a gorgeous view and lovely jacuzzi. It was a beautiful and modern location to stay. The location is in Pyrgos Kallistis, a quieter village high up on Thira (Santorini) island with panoramic views of the island. About a ten minute walk into town where there are many delicious cafes and restaurants as well as the bus stop to get into more touristy parts of the island. I would recommend renting a vehicle if staying here as the bus is relatively infrequent and unreliable. All in all a wonderful stay thanks to a beautiful location and hospitable host!

First of all, I should mention that you should not worry about hygiene, the house was delivered really clean and quite comfortable. The owner, Ms. Melis, is a very friendly, helpful and human woman, thank you very much for her warm and helpful attitude and for the comfortable stay she offers ☺️

Very nice and beautiful accommodation, small but very nice with wonderful and soothing views of the sea, the boats and Kalymnos. Sun on the balcony from morning until about 4:30 now in October. Change of towels often. Breakfast with bread, butter, yogurt, marmalade, cheese, ham, juice and banana was in the fridge every day. Very kind and friendly hosts. We would love to return, both to nice Aphrodite and to little Telendos with its cozy restaurants.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I went as a solo traveller and loved the pool, balconies and the village Zia, which is only a 5 minute drive away. The place was spotless and was easily accessible during check in. The response time was brilliant and there was constant communication and assistance for little things (suggestion of supermarkets etc). Also, the pillows on this bed were the comfiest I've ever had in an Airbnb! The only thing about this property is that you NEED to have a car - for me this wasn't an issue but I would suggest you're a confident driver if you go - it is up a steep hill and can be daunting. If you are fine with this then book it - it's only a 25 minute drive to Kos Town which is beautiful and I saw some incredible sunsets from both my balcony and from Zia. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved it here. We looked all over the island and found the best view on the island for sunsets was on our balcony. The breakfasts were not anything crazy but more than adequate and we loved having them delivered to our room each morning. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it however there are a couple of slightly negative things worth mentioning. The smell: the back porch did have a scent that was mentioned in other reviews. It’s a sewage smell. It’s not pleasant. But was limited to the balcony and seemed to be dependent on the wind. We made a joke about it because when we smelled it, we always knew we were close to “Home”. The hot tub is not hot. It’s warm and we used it every day but be aware… it’s not “hot”. Lastly… communicating with the hosts prior to our arrival was a bit challenging. Responses were quite slow but once we arrived and started communicating with Sotiris in country, it was no problem. Sotiris was amazing and made everything easy

The property is located directly on the harbor, so we could easily reach it on foot. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Highlight of the apartment is definitely the balcony and the ocean and harbor views. However, you should know that a road runs along the front of the house, so that at night, with the window open, you can hear the cars. Nevertheless, we were able to sleep well. The road is not too busy. The property is within walking distance of several mini and supermarkets, as well as many restaurants and cafes. Maria always responded quickly, was very friendly and gave us good tips for the area. We felt comfortable and had a good time in the accommodation.

Lindos is beautiful and this apartment has the most stunning views from the large comfortable terrace.

First of all, the location of the house was right in the center of the old city, within walking distance to everywhere. This was one of the best features. The sheets, the bathroom, the towels, the whole house was spotless. We didn't have any problems with cleanliness. The hosts and staff were friendly. We had a great stay at this cosy BnB. It is located in a complex with other apartments, yet feels very private. Everything was as expected.

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

This place exceeded our expectations. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, it was clean & the kitchen was well stocked. The location - next to beach with incredible views of the sea & Telendos Island. Had stairs next to it that went right down to the sand. Everything is walking distance - restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops, climbing supplies, scooter rentals. Vasilia, the host, is extremely helpful & responsive.
