We had an amazing month-long stay at this Airbnb while living our best ski bum life! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the bus stop, making it super easy to get to the slopes. After long days of skiing, we loved relaxing in the two hot tubs, and the grill was a great bonus for cooking up some delicious meals. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stay, and the different views from the windows made every part of the day feel special. Plus, the area was incredibly quiet, which made for a peaceful retreat after all the mountain adventures. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would absolutely stay here again!

Words can’t describe how special our stay was in this cabin. I was excited because the photos in the listing made the place look incredible, and the photos don’t even do it justice. The furniture is so comfortable and each room is well decorated. Each space was fun to hang out in. The views are beautiful. We vow to return.

We recently stayed at Jay’s place in Alma for a ski trip, and we had the best time. The accommodation was perfect and, honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The level of detail he’s put into all the little things makes for such an exceptional stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice, cozy stay away from the noise but close to the ski field.

We stayed at the Hideaway for our Ski trip this year, and it was amazing! Very home-like, beautiful views, and awesome hot tub!! Would love to come back! The hosts were communicative and very sweet!

Our family had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay. We celebrated my son’s birthday and Mother’s Day together. My son always likes to go on a trip/experience for his birthday and this was the cabin he chose. Picturesque views. Weather was great. The cabin really helps you feel right at home while soaking up the relaxation. We really had a great time.

We have now stayed at the Jewel Box a number of times now, it’s our go to place for ski trips to Summit County, CO. It’s just such a warm and comfortable place for our family that we couldn't think of staying somewhere else. Possibly the only thing better than the house itself is Chanie, the host. She clearly takes great pride in caring for the house, but also in being a great host. She’s always so responsive to our questions or any issues that arise during our stay, and very friendly and concerned about our enjoyment of the trip. Honestly, they don’t make any better host than Chanie!

We had a great time at the house! It does sit at over 10,600 feet in elevation so hydrate yourself prior to arriving. Not terribly far from the slopes and we found Fairplay to be quite fun.

Lloyd's BnB is a great place to stay. The beautiful mountain setting, the charming creek and the fact that EVERYTHING you could possibly need for is less than 10 minutes away are all reasons to come back. I would ^ HIGHLY ^ recommend this Air BnB to anyone with dogs, mountain lovers or anyone who wants a picturesque getaway from the city without having to be too far away from all the amentities a city provides. LOVED this airbnb, one of the best I've stayed at. Perfect for 2 families with young kids. Wonderful outdoor kids play area, parents hanging out on the deck, really nice indoor hang out areas, and beautiful hiking just 5 minutes away. I think it's really likely we will stay here again. Oh, and the beds were comfortable, (good, new mattresses) which is SO important.

It was a beautiful place with a great location. You are close to town, but you don’t feel like it. It’s very peaceful and amazing. There was so much wildlife and the it’s amazing. Whether it’s from the bedroom or the kitchen/living room you have an amazing view that is easy to watch wildlife from.

Anthony is an awesome host. He was welcoming and gave some great tips on the area and hiking. Great place to stay!

We just got back from this precious A frame house and loved it. It was perfect for our little get away. It was quiet and could hear the river all throughout the day. Communication was great and he even recommended some near by trails for us to explore!

Christopher's place was just wonderful! We went as a family of four to celebrate our two children's birthdays. The house was cozy, peaceful, relaxing and had everything we needed to prepare meals the entire 4 nights we were there, I was even able to make two birthday cakes! I did bring my own cake pans and just in case but this house is so well stocked- air fryer Crock-Pot, hand mixer, blender, toaster coffee maker French press... you name it, it's there. Christopher is a very responsive and helpful host, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, my children were sad to leave and for me one of the highlights was the cute little fox visitor we had hang out on our deck for 15 minutes. if you're thinking about booking this place just book it, you'll be glad you did.

This cabin is just beautiful, albeit remote as advertised. Unfortunately, I had to work during the week we were there and the internet was great and reliable. Just for awareness, there is no cellular coverage for the 3 mile path to the cabin; however, using our devices over Wifi worked just fine. The cabin is nicely furnished and just a short drive into the town of Fairplay and 20 minutes from Breckenridge. The host was awesome and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Cloud 9 Cabin! It was a cozy space in a quiet location. We also enjoyed being close to Breckenridge, Alma, and Fairplay.

Holy-moly, what a place! Private, secluded, breathtaking views (& not just from the cabin but on all the roads & routes to the place), &, as others have said, everything you might need was stocked (tho you might want to bring your favorite herbs/spices if you plan on cooking). The bed was super cozy, heating/cooling a breeze, & NO scented stuff anywhere (thank goodness)! The grounds were fun to wander around &, when we arrived, we were literally greeted by a very friendly White-breasted Nuthatch who graciously took unsalted peanuts right out of my hand. Note to those not from higher altitudes: Come prepared with O2 in cans (stocked in convenience stores in CO) & hydration aids…it is UP there & very dry. Sharon is responsive & ready to help, even early on Sunday a.m. if need be. We can’t speak highly enough about this rental; we hope to be lucky enough to rent here again someday.

My wife and I rented this beautiful cabin for our anniversary weekend away from the city. We had such a great time and didn't want to leave!! The views are stunning and well worth the small drive from Denver. We could have spent the whole weekend at the cabin enjoying the amenities there, but wanted to go out and explore the area. If you're planning a (summer) weekend of hiking and enjoying the outdoors, there are lots of options nearby. Here are some of the things we did: Hiked Mount Royal in Frisco, Dinner at a brewery in Breckenridge, Hike Hoosier Pass loop (only a few minutes from the cabin), Exploring the downtown shops, and biking the trail between Breckenridge and Frisco. Thanks for everything, we'll be back again!!

This house had a great floor plan, room to spread out, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed our time here!

This was a cozy place to stay. We particularly loved the procjector, skylights, and hot tub. Its a perfect combination of remoteness, yet its only a few miles from Empire. Great view too. Hope to be back.

Janet’s Fox Den was absolutely charming and well-situated for a week of snow activities and travel through Colorado. Janet was responsive and helpful, and clear in her communications. The view from the back porch was lovely, even in the winter, and Janet kept the house well-stocked with anything you might need for your visit. We greatly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, and would recommend anyone stay at this delightful location.
