Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Devon

We had a lovely stay at stairway to Devon - Midge. Nathan greeted us on arrival and informed us of everything we needed to know, including recommendations for local walks. The hut has everything you could possibly need, and the wood fired hot tub was an extra bonus. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing get away.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful bungalow! It was spotlessly clean, cosy, and felt so homely. The location was perfect - peaceful yet close to everything we needed. Everything was exactly as described, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Hollycroft Barn, from the moment we arrived Tracey was so helpful, showed us around and made us feel at home, she even baked us a beautiful welcome cake! The barn is absolutely stunning, and so homely, we didn’t want to leave, the grounds are amazing, Tracey even brought down the lambs so we could bottle feed them! Fantastic host and fantastic property, would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation with plenty of space and lovely views over the pretty garden and beyond. The upper level seating area indoors with binoculars and bird book was a particularly nice touch. Private and peaceful with great hosts, my stay was a thoroughly enjoyable one, thank you!

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and spacious and perfect for socialising with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, our only gripe was that we wish we had booked longer!!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . We stayed for a weekend to attend an event in the centre of the village, right on the creek, and the location was perfect. Just a short walk and with excellent views across to the other side of the creek. Very comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you could need. Really helpful and accommodating when I realised we might need a slightly flexible check in/check out as well, which we greatly appreciated! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if returning to the area!

Leilas appartment has a lovely view of the harbour. The walk down is fairly steep so consequently so is the walk back. It’s a good central point for checking out North Devon.

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Very stylish flat. All mod cons including sound system and fun to have a Porsche for decoration. Funky bathroom - huge free standing bath! The location is great, right down by the harbour although the boat yard blocks the view unfortunately. You can walk everywhere is a few minutes. Parking in Topsham is always tricky but this flat is really close to the quayside car park and although it is a bit narrow you can drive right down to the flat to unload your stuff. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Angela's place in Dartmouth. It was very spacious and felt really peaceful and private, especially the terrace - perfect for a relaxing break. The location was great too, with loads of nice restaurants and the centre of Dartmouth just a short walk away. Having the double garage was a real bonus too as parking can be a bit tricky around there! Would definitely stay again!

What a cracker of a place and so lucky to have found it. Simply perfect and a wonderfully secluded spot yet close to all that Lyme Regis has to offer. Looked after so well, with tasteful additions that make it a home from home. Wow…. The garden !!! Thank you for being fabulous hosts too .

we spent two weeks at Pippa's place. it was everything that we were told and more. Pippa, Matt and the children were very welcoming and friendly. The Annexe is very spacious clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay there again in the future and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Valley View. It's set in gorgeous surroundings and less than ten minutes to lyme regis by car. The property was absolutely spotless and the perfect space for a short break. We stayed for three nights and wished we had booked for longer!

Fabulous house which is deceptively large and can host a large family/friend group. Very lovely cottage garden too! In a delightful village on the harbour and super restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend!

Myself and two friends travelled from London and had an absolutely amazing well needed break! The property was absolutely beautiful and the location. We walked to Looe following the recommendations and had an amazingly mindful walk in the natural beauty of Cornwall. We are already planning our next trip back! Rob is a brilliant host, they property was better than the pictures and the communication was excellent

We had an amazing stay at Coombe Villa! The house was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group of six friends. We loved the sea views, the games room, and the cinema setup, which made for some really fun evenings. The location is ideal, with beaches, cafes, and restaurants just a short walk away. Simon and Charlie were super responsive and helpful with any questions, which made everything really easy. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.
